iFIT’s vision is to create the world's most holistic health and fitness platform, integrating all elements of health - physical fitness, mental health, nutrition and active recovery - into a seamless interactive experience. We develop proprietary software that learns and adjusts to the habits of each person as it delivers immersive content that guides them on their own individual fitness journey.

ABOUT THE ROLE

iFIT is building its next generation subscription product, and VP, Subscription Product is the leader who sets its direction. You own the product vision, the differentiation thesis, and the AI and personalization philosophy.

You report to the Chief Subscription Officer. You partner with the CSO on where the vision product roadmap. You work as a peer with Design, Engineering, Marketing, Retention, Content, and Analytics leaders, who operate as first class members of the model.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

  • Product vision and differentiation. Set and defend the product vision, the member experience vision, and the defensibility thesis. Make the final call on the AI and personalization philosophy.
  • Product prioritization/Roadmap. Set the quarterly percentage split across Core, Growth, and Partner work with the CSO investment lens and Engineering capacity reality. Set the platform and tech debt percentage, which Engineering defines and spends.
  • Product strategy. Decide product strategy across domains and review domain roadmaps, PRDs, and the single backlog (one queue, three lanes) for coherence.
  • Monetization innovation. Own the concept pipeline for new revenue ideas. Build the business case, make a clear recommendation, and drive the CSO to a decision on pricing, plans, packaging, and investment.
  • Innovation pipeline. Own future state concepts and the innovation pipeline, in consultation with Design, Engineering, and Analytics.
  • Product leadership. Lead and develop the Core Product Leader, Growth Product Leader, and Partner Product Leader. Hold each accountable for outcomes: engagement for Core, funnel for Growth, and partner experiences for Partner.

HOW YOU DECIDE

  • Decides - Product vision, member experience vision, AI and personalization philosophy, differentiation thesis, innovation pipeline, product strategy, and the quarterly capacity split.
  • Consulted on - Pricing, plans and packaging, investment decisions, domain roadmaps, retention strategy, content strategy, and acquisition strategy.
  • Informed on - Commercial partner negotiations, partner sales, paid acquisition, and brand and campaigns.
  • Does not own - The subscription P&L, pricing, or commercial deals, Architecture and delivery, The retention number, The experiment gate,

OPERATING RHYTHM

  • Quarterly planning: set the capacity split with the CSO and Engineering, with Analytics arriving with the insights agenda.
  • Ongoing: review domain roadmaps and resolve cross domain conflicts, then communicate decisions directly and in public.
  • Regular readouts to the CSO and executive team on product outcomes, bets, and tradeoffs.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Substantial revenue and subscriber growth.
  • Best in class engagement and retention results.
  • Efficient marketing funnel driven by the product.
  • Building the #1 app in Fitness
  • Three domain leaders who own their slices and escalate only when they should.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 12 or more years in product, with 5 or more years leading product leaders at a consumer subscription, mobile, or connected fitness company.
  • Proven record of setting product vision and turning it into a prioritized portfolio with real tradeoffs.
  • Deep fluency in subscription economics: conversion, retention, LTV, CAC, and pricing and packaging.
  • Hands on experience shaping an AI and personalization strategy for consumers.
  • Comfort making direct decisions and holding the tiebreaker without losing partnership with Design, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Experience running experimentation programs with an analytics gate.
  • Executive presence and the ability to present to the CEO and board.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in fitness, health, wellness, or content driven products.
  • Experience with partner ecosystems, integrations, and platform products.
  • Experience scaling a product organization through a reorganization or operating model change.

Pay Range:

$200,000—$225,000 USD
