  • Partner with suppliers, integrators, Engineering, Quality, R&D, Maintenance, and Production Operations to deploy new technologies.
  • Troubleshoot complex equipment, tooling, fixture, slurry, material-handling, surface-quality, contamination, and dimensional issues.
  • Develop and improve processes for new products, engineering builds, production programs, yield, cycle time, capacity, and cost.
  • Use precision metrology and process data to support qualification, capability studies, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Manage and mentor early-career Manufacturing Engineers while partnering closely with Production Operations to align projects, resolve issues, support schedules, and improve overall performance.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in optics, materials science, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, robotics, automation, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in crystal optics fabrication, precision polishing, and/or optical manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supporting automation projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience identifying automation opportunities and implementing robotics, machine vision, automated equipment, or material-handling systems.
  • Experience developing equipment requirements, evaluating suppliers, validating processes, and transferring automated solutions into production.
  • Experience with optical crystals, laser materials, surface finishing, precision manufacturing, or optical inspection.
  • Experience with new product introduction, process qualification, capability studies, and continuous improvement is preferred.

Skills

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
