Heb jij hart voor zorg en oog voor de mens achter de patiënt? Dan ben jij welkom op onze cardiologie-afdeling

Wat ga je doen? Op de afdeling cardiologie zorg je als verpleegkundige voor patiënten met hartproblemen. Je helpt niet alleen bij de medische zorg, zoals medicijnen geven en vitale functies controleren, maar staat ook klaar om patiënten en hun familie gerust te stellen en vragen te beantwoorden. In jouw functie ben je (mede) verantwoordelijk voor de telemetrie bewaking. Geen dag is hetzelfde: de ene keer begeleid je een patiënt tijdens een onderzoek, de andere keer geef je uitleg over behandeling of leefstijl. Samen met je collega’s zorg je ervoor dat patiënten zich veilig en gehoord voelen.

Jouw werkzaamheden in de praktijk:

  • Je helpt patiënten met hun dagelijkse verzorging, zoals wassen, aankleden en medicatie geven.
  • Je houdt in de gaten hoe het met patiënten gaat en grijpt in als dat nodig is, samen met het behandelteam.
  • Je legt dingen duidelijk uit aan patiënten en hun familie, bijvoorbeeld over behandelingen, onderzoeken of tips voor een gezonde leeftstijl.
  • Je werkt goed samen met de cardiologen, verpleegkundig specialisten, de collega`s van de Hartbewaking (EHH/CCU) en je collega`s op de afdeling, zodat iedereen weet wat er speelt en de zorg soepel verloopt.

De afdeling De afdeling Cardiologie beschikt over 16 bewaakte bedden. Op de Hartbewaking (EHH/CCU) hebben we 11 bewaakte bedden voor acuut zieke patiënten. Binnen ons team in de kliniek werken er acht cardiologen, vier verpleegkundige specialisten een physician assistants, verpleegkundigen en leerling verpleegkundigen.

Wat vragen wij van jou?

  • Opleiding – Afgeronde opleiding verpleegkundige
  • Extra – Onze voorkeur gaat uit naar een verpleegkundige met cardiologie ervaring. Scholing is onderdeel van het vakgebied. Wij bieden al onze verpleegkundigen interne en externe scholing m.b.t. de cardiologische zorgvragen. Ritme en ecg leer maken hier deel van uit.
