Role Overview:

Lead a dedicated team in a high-precision, vertically integrated manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that our mission-critical components for laboratory, analytical, and clinical equipment are produced with uncompromising quality, efficiency, and speed. The ideal candidate will thrive in a culture that values precision, technical excellence, and ultra-responsive service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations, ensuring production schedules align with the high-reliability demands of the analytical instrument market.
  • Execute precise manload planning to ensure optimal labor allocation across assembly and production cells.
  • Perform rigorous capacity planning to manage throughput in our vertically integrated assembly and component manufacturing workflows.
  • Drive the application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor and maintain the high-precision standards required for mass spectrometry components.
  • Ensure all processes meet strict cleanliness and vacuum-compatibility specifications.
  • Rapidly respond to production bottlenecks or equipment downtime to maintain our "ultra-responsive" service promise to our OEM clients.
  • Actively identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve production yield through Lean methodologies.
  • Partner closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality departments to ensure seamless product development-to-production transitions.
  • Lead by example and promote a strong Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) culture.
  • Proactively identify and address HSE risks, incidents and near misses, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
  • Ensure employees understand and meet their HSE responsibilities through clear expectations, communication and coaching.

Critical Competencies for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience, ideally within an ISO 9001-certified or similarly high-precision/regulated manufacturing environment like medical devices or analytical instruments.
  • Expertise in SPC and data-driven process monitoring.
  • Demonstrable skill in workforce balancing and capacity planning.
  • A high sense of urgency with a track record of meeting critical delivery dates for global customers.
  • Strong leadership communication skills to coach and motivate operators in a precision-focused environment.
  • High proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel for production tracking and data reporting.
  • Experience in high-reliability assembly environments (e.g., scientific instrumentation, electronics, or aerospace) preferred.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Experience leading small-to-medium teams in a fast-paced environment where precision and quality are paramount.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
