The posting

The Role

We are looking for a Regional Sales Director to own iMin's commercial growth across designated markets in Southeast Asia. This is a builder's role: you will set the go-to-market strategy for your markets, lead strategic negotiations with enterprise customers and payment partners, and turn iMin's hardware, KiwiCloud platform and partner ecosystem into complete solutions that merchants and partners buy at scale. You will run your markets as a business, not just a sales territory: accountable for revenue, margin, pricing discipline and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market strategy and expansion. Own the revenue plan and go-to-market strategy for assigned markets. Identify and open new markets, verticals and channels; decide where to invest, where to partner and where to go direct.

2. Payment and POS ecosystem partnerships. Build and deepen partnerships with acquirers, banks, PSPs, payment facilitators, POS software providers (ISVs) and platform players. Structure joint go-to-market programs that embed iMin devices into partners' merchant offerings.

3. Strategic account and deal leadership. Personally lead negotiations on large and complex deals, including enterprise retail and F&B chains, banks and payment providers. Manage multi-stakeholder buying processes from first meeting through contract, rollout and renewal.

4. Solution selling. Work with product, pre-sales and KiwiCloud teams to design end-to-end customer solutions covering hardware, device management, payment integration, software partners and after-sales service, rather than selling devices alone.

5. Regional pricing and commercial governance. Set and manage pricing structures across channel, distributor, partner and direct customers. Protect margin, prevent channel conflict, and approve deal-level pricing within agreed guardrails.

6. Sales operations and business management. Run disciplined forecasting, pipeline management and CRM hygiene. Work with supply chain and finance on demand planning, inventory, credit terms and collections. Use data to make decisions and report clearly to management.

7. Team leadership. Lead, hire and develop a high-performing team. Set clear targets, coach for performance, and build a culture of ownership and accountability.

8. Market intelligence. Track competitors, payment regulation and certification requirements, and merchant trends; feed insights back into product and pricing decisions.

What You Bring

Must have

• 10+ years of B2B sales experience in POS, payments, fintech or commercial IoT, including at least 5 years leading regional or multi-country teams.

• An established network across Southeast Asia's payment and POS ecosystem: acquirers, banks, PSPs, POS ISVs, distributors and enterprise merchants, with relationships you can activate from day one.

• Strong working knowledge of the payment value chain: acquiring, terminal certification, SoftPOS, and how payment providers deploy and monetize terminals.

• Track record of closing and managing large, complex enterprise or partner deals, with demonstrated negotiation skills at senior executive level.

• Hands-on experience setting regional pricing and managing margin across multiple channels.

• Proven record of entering new markets or building a business from an early stage.

Preferred

• Experience at a POS hardware manufacturer, payment terminal vendor, acquirer/PSP or POS SaaS company.

• Understanding of device management / MDM and Android-based commercial devices.

• Experience working in a global company with HQ teams across time zones, including China-based R&D or supply chain.

What Success Looks Like in the First 12 Months

• Revenue and margin plan for assigned markets delivered.

• New strategic payment / ecosystem partnerships signed and generating volume.

• At least one new market or vertical opened with a repeatable model.

• A stable, high-performing team with clear accountability.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
