We're looking for a commercially minded and technically credible Product Development Manager to take ownership of the development and successful market launch of the next generation of our Metron3D product family.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll bring together engineering, manufacturing, product marketing, programme management and field operations to deliver products that solve real customer problems and create meaningful business value.

If you thrive on turning complex technology into successful commercial products and enjoy leading cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Ensuring products are delivered on time, within budget and to the expected quality standards
  • Acting as the primary escalation point for programme risks, challenges and dependencies
  • Building strong relationships across technical and commercial teams to maintain alignment and momentum
  • Leading stage-gate reviews and ensuring adherence to Product Lifecycle (PLC) governance processes
  • Managing product requirements, specifications, scope changes and engineering releases
  • Working directly with customers to validate requirements, gather feedback and shape product direction
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to align product strategy with wider business objectives
  • Driving robust resource planning, risk management and mitigation activities
  • Monitoring programme metrics and ensuring targets for performance, cost, manufacturability and service readiness are achieved
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across product development and business processes

What Success Looks Like

You will successfully bring new Metron3D products to market that:

  • Meet customer needs and market expectations
  • Achieve performance, quality and cost targets
  • Are ready for manufacture, installation and service support
  • Deliver measurable commercial impact
  • Strengthen Infinitesima's position within the global semiconductor industry

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Proven experience leading complex technology product development programmes
  • Strong track record of delivering products from concept through to market launch
  • Strong leadership skills with experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Expertise in managing scope, budget, schedule and risk across complex development programmes
  • Experience working with structured product lifecycle and stage-gate methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer focus
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to decision making
  • Ability to influence and drive progress without direct authority

Desirable

  • Experience with highly configurable product platforms, modular architectures or product families
  • Experience within semiconductor equipment, semiconductor metrology, inspection systems or other advanced technology sectors
  • Experience managing external development partners and suppliers
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and metrology applications
  • Experience operating within scaling technology businesses

Ideal qualifications

Degree qualified in Engineering, Physics, Technology or a related discipline

Why Join Infinitesima?

  • Help shape the future of semiconductor metrology
  • Lead the launch of industry-changing technology
  • Work with a highly skilled and collaborative team
  • Influence product strategy at executive level

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
