Role Overview - Infollion is looking for a Business Delivery Lead/ Group Manager to hold the Execution & P&L. He will be expected to operate with a business-owner mindset, balancing delivery commitments, client expectations, people management, and financial performance.

Role details on KRA's as below:

Research Delivery & Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end research delivery across multiple teams, ensuring timely execution of projects in line with client requirements and agreed turnaround times.
  • Monitor project progress, delivery quality, productivity, and adherence to defined service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure effective allocation and utilization of resources across teams based on business priorities and project requirements.
  • Identify delivery bottlenecks, operational gaps &recurring challenges and implement corrective measures.
  • Establish standardized workflows, review mechanisms, and reporting practices to improve delivery efficiency.
  • Ensure consistency in research quality, process adherence, and service delivery standards across teams.

Client Delivery

  • Ensure delivery commitments are met in accordance with client expectations, project scope, and agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate with client-facing teams to understand project priorities, resolve delivery challenges, and manage escalations.
  • Establish effective communication channels between research teams, business teams, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor client feedback and identify opportunities to improve delivery quality and service experience.
  • Support the resolution of critical delivery issues and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain visibility on project status, resource requirements, delivery risks, and dependencies.

Business Planning & Strategy

  • Translate organizational strategy into actionable team plans.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost optimization.
  • Monitor execution of key initiatives and ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross Functional teams including Sales, Operations, HR, and Leadership.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management.
  • Act as a bridge between leadership strategy and team execution.
  • Support business leadership in planning for new projects, client requirements, and expansion of delivery capabilities.
  • Take ownership of the P&L for the assigned research delivery group, ensuring alignment between revenue targets, delivery commitments, operating costs, and profitability.
  • Monitor revenue performance, cost structures, team utilization, and margins to ensure financial and operational targets are achieved

Resource Management & Execution

  • Align delivery capacity with business demand, client requirements, and projected workloads.
  • Participate in workforce planning, capacity assessment, and resource allocation across teams.
  • Anticipate potential delivery risks and develop contingency plans to maintain business continuity.
  • Develop and execute plans to improve group profitability through effective resource allocation, workforce planning, productivity improvement, and cost optimization.
  • Track budget versus actual performance, identify financial variances, and implement corrective actions to address gaps.

Talent Development & Coaching

  • Identify high-potential employees and create development plans.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and capability-building initiatives.
  • Foster a learning culture within the team. Designing programs and learning modules for new hire programs
  • Providing real-time examples and case studies to help in regular activities
  • Coaching & guiding managers on regular basis, giving constructive feedback

Process & Quality Governance

  • Establish and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, quality standards, and organizational policies.
  • Lead process optimization and automation initiatives where applicable.

Experience & Qualifications

  • MBA / Postgraduate degree in Business Management, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • 10-12+ years of experience in Operations / Business Management / Consulting / Service Delivery.
  • Prior experience managing multi-team operations and P&L ownership.
  • Process optimization and operational scalability
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
