Due to internal promotion, we are currently hiring an Accounts Payable Officer based out of our Brisbane office. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you'll be the go-to person for keeping supplier payments running smoothly. Your day will involve processing invoices, reconciling accounts, responding to supplier and team member enquiries, and ensuring payments are made accurately and on time. You'll work closely with teams across the business to resolve invoice discrepancies, maintain supplier records, support weekly payment runs, and identify opportunities to improve processes. It's a busy, hands-on role that suits someone who enjoys structure, problem-solving, and being part of a collaborative team. Benefits

Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices accurately and on time in a high-volume accounts payable environment Reconcile supplier statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding account issues Support weekly payment runs, employee reimbursements, and credit card reconciliations Maintain supplier records and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and overall accounts payable efficiency
About You
Previous Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment Strong understanding of invoicing processes, reconciliation, and accounting principles Experience with JDE or a similar finance system, plus strong Excel skills Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities Positive, proactive team player with strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
