Lean Expertise & Application

  • Conduct in-depth value-stream mapping exercises across departments to visualize current state, identify bottlenecks and waste, and design future state processes
  • Support Kaizen events, workshops, and rapid improvement activities to drive continuous improvement at the team and process level
  • Leverage lean tools including standard work, visual management, root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone), and PDCA cycles to solve operational challenges
  • Measure and track waste elimination impact in terms of revenue per employee, cycle time reduction, quality improvements, and other key operational metrics
  • Partner with functional leaders to embed lean thinking into daily operations and decision-making processes

Lean Culture Development

  • Facilitate lean culture adoption across the organization by modeling lean behaviors and demonstrating the value of continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with the Executive C-Suite, key subject matter experts, and external lean consultancy firm to design and deliver lean improvements
  • Conduct “train the trainer” sessions to build internal lean capability and expand the network of lean practitioners
  • Track lean adoption metrics including eNPS (employee Net Promoter Score) related to lean practices and transformation initiatives
  • Build a repository of lean tools, templates, and best practices that teams can readily access and apply
  • Support the transformation team in documenting case studies and success stories that showcase the impact of lean initiatives

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Strategic Program Managers to ensure consistent application of lean principles across all annual improvement priorities
  • Partner with Business Unit Chiefs of Staff and functional operational leads to identify lean improvement opportunities
  • Lead through influence across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other functions to drive lean adoption
  • Serve as a lean subject matter expert, providing guidance on methodology application and tool selection

Change Management Support

  • Support change management activities for lean transformation initiatives, including stakeholder engagement and resistance management
  • Communicate the why; behind lean initiatives to build understanding and buy-in at all organizational levels
  • Facilitate retrospectives and lessons learned sessions to capture insights and drive continuous improvement in transformation approaches
  • Partner with functional leaders to ensure sustained adoption of lean practices and embed continuous improvement into team routines

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience applying lean methodologies in operational or transformation roles
  • Deep expertise in lean tools and techniques including value-stream mapping, Kaizen, visual management, and problem-solving
  • Proven track record conducting value-stream mapping exercises and driving measurable waste elimination results
  • 3-7 years of project management experience, including leading cross-functional initiatives in software companies
  • Strong facilitation skills with ability to lead workshops, Kaizen events, and executive-level meetings
  • Experience training others on lean methodologies and building organizational lean capability
  • Analytical mindset with ability to measure impact in terms of revenue per employee, cycle time, quality, and other operational metrics
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in program management tools, such as Smartsheet

Preferred

  • Experience in technology companies undergoing significant transformation
  • Background working with lean consultancies or as an internal lean champion
  • Understanding of SaaS business models, metrics (ARR, NRR), AI transformation, and go-to-market strategies

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
