  • Provide advanced production support for React applications, APIs, background services, and integrations hosted in Azure.
  • Monitor application health and investigate alerts, errors, performance issues, and disruptions using Datadog, Azure tools, logs, and diagnostics.
  • Triage incidents, assess business impact, communicate status, restore service, and coordinate escalation across application, infrastructure, database, security, and vendor teams.
  • Analyze root causes and implement lasting fixes to prevent repeat incidents and improve stability.
  • Troubleshoot React interfaces, APIs, Azure services, MongoDB, SQL, integrations, authentication, and network dependencies.
  • Develop, test, and deploy defect fixes, support utilities, automation, monitoring improvements, and small to medium application enhancements.
  • Write and optimize MongoDB and SQL queries to investigate data issues, validate behavior, and support safe, approved data corrections.
  • Maintain Datadog dashboards, monitors, alerts, log queries, traces, and service level indicators for actionable application visibility.
  • Support Azure deployments and operational activities using established source control, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and change management practices.
  • Participate in an on call rotation and provide scheduled after hours support for critical incidents, releases, and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain runbooks, support procedures, troubleshooting guides, known error records, system diagrams, and knowledge articles.
  • Review application changes for supportability, observability, security, performance, scalability, maintainability, and operational readiness.
  • Partner with product, development, quality, cloud, and business teams to prioritize defects, support requests, technical debt, and reliability improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • 5+ years in software engineering, application development, production support, site reliability, or a similar enterprise application role.
  • Experience supporting customer or business facing production applications using incident, problem, change, and release management practices.

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem solving skills, including the ability to work effectively during high priority incidents.
  • Ability to explain technical issues, business impact, recovery status, root causes, and corrective actions to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Technical Proficiency and Skills:

  • Strong proficiency with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web application troubleshooting.
  • Azure application support experience with services such as App Service, Functions, API Management, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, Container Apps, or Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of server side development using C# and .NET, Node.js, Java, or a comparable language and framework.
  • Practical experience with REST APIs, JSON, authentication and authorization, integrations, and distributed application troubleshooting.
  • Experience querying and troubleshooting MongoDB and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Datadog or equivalent tools for application performance, logs, infrastructure monitoring, dashboards, alerts, and distributed tracing.
  • Ability to isolate issues using browser diagnostics, logs, traces, metrics, database activity, and network behavior.
  • Experience with Git, automated testing, continuous integration and delivery pipelines, release management, and deployment troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Docker, infrastructure as code, scripting, and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, Bicep, or Terraform.
  • Understanding of secure coding, secrets management, identity, vulnerability remediation, performance tuning, resilience, and high availability.
  • Experience with service management and work tracking tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, ownership, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience supporting secure, high performance, fault tolerant, and highly available customer facing applications.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
