  • Review journal entries and account reconciliations performed in ARCS (Fusion, the new ERP) for completeness, accuracy, quality, and timely completion, and help consolidate reconciliation activity across the Wealth and Annuities businesses to drive consistency and adherence to internal control standards, escalating issues as needed.
  • Analyze variances across entities to identify trends and risks and communicate actionable insights into Corporate Accounting and business leadership.
  • Provide leadership and oversight over revenue recognition activities, partnering with the ASC 606 and Technical Accounting teams to ensure revenue policies and accounting practices comply with U.S. GAAP. Translate technical accounting guidance into operational accounting processes, establish appropriate controls and documentation, and collaborate with Corporate Accounting, business finance, and operational teams to ensure accurate and consistent revenue recognition across entities and reporting periods.
  • Partner with the Wealth and Annuities business unit Controllers to ensure accounting records and deliverables remain accurate, complete, and audit-ready, and coordinate with the Controllers and their teams to support external and internal audit requests, walkthroughs, and remediation of findings.
  • Prepare intercompany reconciliations between the Wealth and Annuities businesses and the Shared Services and Insurance businesses, working with Controllers and counterparty teams to resolve differences and support eliminations ahead of close deadlines.
  • Partner with the Wealth and Annuities business unit Controllers and their teams to identify process efficiencies across the businesses and cost-saving opportunities through automation, and support the adoption of standardized, automated processes.

Leadership and Business Partnership

  • Partner with FP&A to explain accounting changes and their impact on actual results, forecasts, and budgets across the Wealth and Annuities businesses, working alongside the business unit Controllers.
  • Serve as a resource to FP&A on US GAAP accounting matters, guiding the application of accounting policy and the financial reporting implications of new products, transactions, and business decisions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Wealth and Annuities business units and respond to management and FP&A questions regarding accounting results, including variances to forecast and prior periods.
  • Communicate finance process and accounting changes, including ERP integration and standardization efforts, clearly to leaders, employees, FP&A, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Systems and Process Improvement

  • Support accounting activity across NetSuite and the transition to Oracle Fusion (including ARCS), keeping processes adaptable to future systems and aligned with the business unit Controllers.
  • Assist Wealth and Annuities businesses with Coupa and Concur integrations in NetSuite and ensure a smooth carry-forward into Oracle Fusion.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows, improve data quality, strengthen controls, and increase automation.
  • Partner with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, and IT on system enhancements, integrations, improvements, and business-unit onboarding to Oracle Fusion.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
