El Centro Internacional de la Papa (CIP) se encuentra en la búsqueda de un Técnico de Investigación I con alto nivel de compromiso para brindar soporte en activades de la Unidad de Soporte a la Investigación (RSU) y en el Area de Agricultura Regenerativa en la estación experimental de Huancayo. Acerca del CIP: El CIP forma parte de la asociación mundial de investigación CGIAR, comprometida con la transformación de los sistemas alimentarios, terrestres y hídricos frente a la crisis climática. Nuestra misión es desarrollar innovaciones científicas en papa, camote y otros tubérculos para fortalecer los sistemas agroalimentarios y brindar beneficios económicos, sociales y nutricionales a nivel global. Acerca del puesto: La posición pertenece a la Area de Agricultura Regenerativa. Estará ubicada en la Estación Experimental del CIP en Huancayo y reportará al Supervisor de Estaciones Experimentales y al Investigador Senior del Area de Agricultura Regenerativa. Funciones: Apoyar en la instalación, manejo y mantenimiento de ensayos, viveros y parcelas experimentales de papa en campo e invernadero, incluyendo actividades de siembra, trasplante, riego, fertilización, control fitosanitario, cosecha y otras labores agronómicas de acuerdo con los protocolos establecidos. Participar en la multiplicación, selección, clasificación, desinfección, acondicionamiento y almacenamiento de tubérculo-semilla de papa, contribuyendo al mantenimiento de su calidad fisiológica, sanitaria y genética. Realizar el registro de datos, muestreo y procesamiento de muestras provenientes de actividades de campo, invernadero y laboratorio, asegurando la calidad, trazabilidad y organización de la información generada. Apoyar en el monitoreo de plagas, enfermedades y variables ambientales, así como en el manejo de inventarios, materiales, insumos y existencias de tubérculo-semilla requeridos por el proyecto Ejecutar actividades de limpieza, desinfección y mantenimiento de instalaciones, equipos y áreas de trabajo, cumpliendo los procedimientos de bioseguridad, seguridad ocupacional y gestión ambiental establecidos por la institución. Capacidad y disponibilidad para realizar aplicaciones de productos fitosanitarios (agroquímicos) para el control de plagas y enfermedades en y almacenes, cumpliendo las normas de seguridad ocupacional y manejo seguro de agroquímicos. Requirements Educación: Egresado de carrera técnicas de Agricultura o áreas afines. Experiencia: Experiencia mínima de 3 años en el manejo del cultivo de la papa, indispensable. Competencias Técnicas: Conocimiento de buenas prácticas de manejo del cultivo y uso de pesticidas. Manejo de herramientas Office a nivel intermedio (Word, Excel, etc.). Competencias personales: Personalidad proactiva, responsable y comprometida, con facilidad para trabajar en equipo.
