Position Description Title: CRM Manager Department: Sales Location: Sarasota, FL Immediate Supervisor: Director of Business Performance & Sales Operations Status: Non-Exempt Salaried Position Purpose: Own the strategy, governance, and optimization of the CRM platform to ensure it drives business growth and operational efficiency. This role serves as the CRM subject-matter expert, responsible for system integrity, reporting, and adoption across the organization. Principle Accountabilities
Own the CRM strategy and governance, including defining roadmap and prioritizing enhancements to align with business objectives, ensuring CRM is a functional tool for the sales organization. Serve as the CRM product owner by providing clear direction on workflows, integrations, and enhancements; validate business requirements; lead business cases and justifications to secure appropriate budgets for system improvements; and hold IT and vendor partners accountable for timely, accurate delivery. Establish and enforce data governance standards, including deduplication, validation processes, and compliance monitoring ensuring accuracy, hygiene, and compliance across teams. Serve as the CRM subject-matter expert by designing and delivering training programs for all user levels, including onboarding and ongoing enablement, ensuring adoption and compliance with CRM best practices. Create and maintain reporting and dashboards that provide actionable insights for leadership and sales teams, deprecating those that no longer meet business needs to keep reporting streamlined and effective. Hold sales teams and SMEs accountable for proper CRM usage and data integrity by setting clear expectations, monitoring compliance via reporting, and escalating gaps in engagement or adherence to standards, providing guidance on process improvement where relevant. Lead continuous improvement initiatives by assessing system usage, training effectiveness, and evolving business needs. Actively research and evaluate CRM platform enhancements and industry best practices, incorporating relevant updates into system strategy and training programs. Essential Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of CRM strategy, governance, and optimization, including cross-functional adoption initiatives. Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations. Proficiency in CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), and reporting tools (Power BI preferred). Excellent communication and facilitation skills to influence and drive change across teams. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement.
