With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.
The Associate, AI Cloud will report to the Commercial Director, AI Cloud and help execute IREN's commercial operations and go-to-market efforts for our AI Cloud business. This role supports customer engagement, deal structuring and execution, pricing and contract governance, pipeline management, and cross-functional coordination with technology, operations, project development & delivery, legal, and finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in commercial/revenue operations, go-to-market, or technology strategy roles, ideally within cloud computing, AI infrastructure or related technology sectors
- Independent judgment and intellectual curiosity: you can form a clear point of view with incomplete information, support it with evidence and revise it if the facts change
- Track record of taking customer deals, go-to-market or growth initiatives from idea, analysis to execution, with clear ownership of substantive workstreams
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Excellent analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate complex technical and operational requirements into actionable business outcomes
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage effectively at executive level both internally and externally
- A collaborative mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
- Own substantive workstreams in the development and execution of IREN's go-to-market strategy for its AI Cloud services, working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and product teams to ensure commercial and technical alignment
- Evaluate customer and go-to-market opportunities, assessing strategic fit, commercial potential, financial returns and execution risks, and translating technical and operational requirements into actionable commercial outcomes
- Build IREN’s presence and relationships with customers, partners and the broader SF AI ecosystem to generate market intelligence and pipeline
- Build financial models, pricing analyses and business cases, lead commercial and financial diligence on customer opportunities, and support deal structuring, pricing and contract governance through to execution in coordination with technical, legal and other specialist teams
- Support the broader commercial team in developing and refining IREN's go-to-market strategy and commercial operations for its AI Cloud services, including pipeline management, forecasting and CRM processes
- Prepare and present materials for executive and board-level audiences on AI strategy, go-to-market performance, and customer opportunities, clearly presenting evidence, economics, risks and decisions required
