Ben jij op zoek naar een uitdagende (afstudeer) stage, waarbij je in aanraking komt met de nieuwste ontwikkelmethodes? Wil je ervaren hoe het is om mee te bouwen aan een platform dat wereldwijd wordt gebruikt door duizenden gebruikers? Dan is een stage bij IXON wellicht iets voor jou!

Bij IXON connecten wij machinebouwers met hun klanten en machines. Door machinebouwers wereldwijd toegang te geven tot hun machines en data zorgen wij voor een revolutie in industrial automation. Met onze end-to-end oplossing, bestaande uit een cloudplatform met geïntegreerde remote access, geven wij machinebouwers de tools en technologie in handen om hun businessmodellen te transformeren en daarmee toekomstbestendig te blijven. Dit alles met als doel: Efficiëntere productie met de laagst mogelijke impact op de wereld.

Bouw jij mee?

Verdeeld over verschillende SCRUM-teams is ons R&D-team verantwoordelijk voor het bouwen en ontwikkelen van het IXON Cloud-platform. Elk aspect van onze oplossing, dan de robuuste backend tot de gebruiksvriendelijke frontend, geavanceerde hardware en onze wereldwijde DevOps-infrastructuur, wordt met passie en expertise binnen onze muren ontwikkeld.

Ons R&D-team, dat inmiddels bestaat uit meer dan 30 technische specialisten, staat altijd open voor jonge talenten die willen groeien en zich verder willen ontwikkelen. Tijdens elke stageperiode bieden we meerdere plekken aan voor studenten in de volgende deelgebieden:

  • Backend development;
  • Frontend development;
  • Embedded Software Development;
  • DevOps;
  • Security;
  • Software testing.

Hierbij kom je aanraking met onze tech-stack, bestaande uit:

  • Python;
  • C++;
  • Rust;
  • Angular;
  • Typescript;
  • Playwright;
  • Zabbix;
  • Linux;
  • MariaDB;
  • Kubernetes;
  • SALT.

Uiteraard staan we altijd open voor inbreng van studenten op het gebied van nieuwe tooling, frameworks en technieken.

Welke opdrachten kan je verwachten?

  • Studio for e-mail

Door de aanhoudende groei van het aantal IXON Cloud-gebruikers neemt de diversiteit aan specifieke wensen toe. Een veelgehoorde behoefte is het personaliseren van e-mailberichten die vanuit het platform naar de eindgebruikers worden verstuurd. Momenteel zijn de aanpassingsmogelijkheden beperkt tot enkel de kleuren en logo's. Het doel van deze opdracht is om klanten volledige controle te bieden over de vormgeving en inhoud van hun e-mails. Om dit te realiseren, wordt een intuïtieve e-mailstudio ontwikkeld waarmee de gebruiker eenvoudig en naar eigen inzicht berichten kan opstellen en beheren.

  • Hot code push system for mobile app

IXON platform heeft een mobiele app voor Android en iOS apparaten. Om ervoor te zorgen dat deze applicatie altijd up-to-date is, zijn we

op zoek naar een hot-code-push systeem wat ervoor kan zorgen dat we minder vaak updates via de app-stores moeten uitvoeren, aangezien ons huidige proces daarvoor niet heel goed schaalt

  • Het versnellen van End-to-End (E2E) testen (Software testing)

Optimaliseer de End-to-End testomgeving van de IXON Cloud om de feedbackcyclus en release-snelheid voor ontwikkelaars te verhogen. Je identificeert knelpunten en implementeert versnellingsoplossingen binnen de GitLab CI/CD-pipeline.

Je bent een HBO student in de richting van (Embedded) Software Development, Security of aanverwant en bent op zoek naar een (afstudeer)stage met impact. Je hebt een passie voor het ontwikkelen van toffe softwareoplossingen en krijgt graag de vrijheid om nieuwe dingen uit te proberen. Daarbij ga je niet voor shortcuts, maar werk je gestructureerd aan kwalitatieve oplossingen. Daarnaast ben je een echte teamplayer, die daardoor moeiteloos meedraait in een van onze SCRUM teams.
