The posting

Our client is a family office seeking an experienced AVP - AI & Process Automation to lead enterprise-wide artificial intelligence and automation initiatives across the family office operations and portfolio companies. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this role will drive opportunity identification, prototyping, implementation, integration, adoption and benefits realization, working with business owners, internal IT and selected vendors. Prioritize production solutions that improve revenue, collections, productivity, cost control, customer experience and decision quality; not strategy presentations or experimentation without deployment.

This role is based in Ras Al Khaimah and demands a strong on-site presence to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and oversee key deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prioritization and Business Value

  • Within 90 days, assess processes across the portfolio, establish a prioritized, costed AI/automation roadmap and agree accountable business sponsors.
  • Prioritize high-value use cases in residential sales/CRM, collections, customer contact center, hospitality, construction/projects, community management, procurement, finance, HR and portfolio/investment reporting.
  • Build baseline KPIs, business cases, implementation costs, risk assessments and measurable ROI for each initiative.

2. Hands-on Delivery and Integration

  • Personally lead prototyping, configuration, testing and deployment of GenAI/LLM, intelligent document processing, workflow automation, RPA and predictive analytics solutions; use computer vision where commercially justified.
  • Integrate solutions with SAP, Salesforce, APIs, document repositories and relevant property, hospitality and workflow systems, partnering with existing IT owners.
  • Deliver 3–5 live, adopted use cases within the first six months, subject to data readiness, approved budgets and business sponsorship; scale successful pilots into supported production services.
  • Ensure reliable monitoring, exception handling, human approvals, audit trails and handover to business/process owners.

3. Process Re-engineering and Adoption

  • Map and simplify underlying workflows before automating; remove unnecessary manual controls and hand-offs without weakening financial or regulatory safeguards.
  • Lead cross-functional workshops, training, user adoption, operating procedures and ownership transfer; measure actual usage and realized benefits.

4. Technology, Data and Governance

  • Select appropriate build/buy/vendor solutions; assess security, integration feasibility, maintainability, licensing cost and vendor dependence.
  • Work with IT, Legal and Compliance on data quality, UAE privacy requirements, access controls, confidential information, model evaluation, hallucination controls and appropriate human oversight.
  • Oversee vendors and a lean delivery team; establish reusable automation standards and practical production support arrangements.

5. Performance and Executive Reporting

  • Report monthly to the CEO on projects live, adoption, cash savings/revenue impact, delivery milestones, costs, risks and the next wave of opportunities.
  • Validate benefits with Finance and business owners; target demonstrable net financial/operational value within the first 12 months.

Success Measures – First 12 Months

  • 90 days: approved opportunity inventory and roadmap
  • 6 months: 3–5 live, adopted use cases, subject to approved prerequisites
  • 12 months: measured, Finance-validated business benefits; repeatable delivery and governance approach; clear ownership of deployed solutions

Key Qualifications & Requirements

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, , Information Systems, or related field
  • 10+ years in enterprise technology/transformation, including substantial recent hands-on AI/automation delivery; evidence of at least five production-deployed use cases and quantified outcomes
  • Applied GenAI/LLMs, RPA/workflow automation, APIs, data integration, solution testing and production monitoring; ability to prototype and challenge vendor designs
  • Cross-functional business engagement, implementation ownership, process re-engineering, change management, vendor oversight and ROI modelling
  • Must have professional-level fluency in English

Good to Haves

  • Relevant postgraduate degree or AI/automation certifications
  • Experience in real estate, construction, hospitality, financial services or diversified groups
  • UAE/ GCC Experience
  • SAP, Salesforce, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Platform, cloud AI platforms
  • Lean-team management across multiple portfolio businesses
