PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Location: Janesville, WI Shift: 2nd Shift

Lead and develop a team of hourly employees while overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations at the facility. This role is accountable for ensuring that all Morgan cargo products consistently meet or exceed internal standards and customer quality expectations through strong leadership, process discipline, and continuous improvement.

What a Day in Your Life Looks Like:

Production Leadership — Lead teams to meet production schedules, operational targets, and quality standards. Safety & Compliance — Maintain a safe, organized workplace and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Continuous Improvement — Improve processes, eliminate bottlenecks, reduce costs, and enhance productivity and quality. Team Development & Performance — Train, coach, and motivate employees while addressing performance and conduct issues consistently. Resource & Material Management — Coordinate material flow and ensure the availability of tools, equipment, and resources to maintain efficient production. Operational Support — Perform additional duties to support manufacturing and business objectives.

What You Bring to the Table:

Education & Experience — Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and relevant experience. Leadership & Development — Proven ability to lead, train, mentor, and develop teams in fast-paced, changing environments. Problem Solving & Initiative — Proactive approach to identifying challenges, implementing solutions, and driving results. Technical Knowledge — Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, blueprint and schematic interpretation, and AutoCAD or similar tools. Communication & Collaboration — Strong communication skills with experience leading cross-functional teams and projects. Accountability & Ownership — Self-motivated, results-driven leader who manages priorities independently, demonstrates urgency, and leads by example.

Physical Requirements:

Work in an active manufacturing plant environment where hands-on tasks keep you engaged! This role requires working in a non-climate-controlled setting, with regular talking and listening. You’ll frequently stand, walk, and use your hands to handle, feel, and reach as you complete your daily duties with precision
