The Front Desk Agent at The Joseph, A Luxury Collection Hotel, plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by providing professional, courteous, and efficient service. Located in the heart of Chicago, IL, this position is perfect for individuals who enjoy engaging with guests and working in a dynamic hotel environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure
  • Manage check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Answer guest inquiries both in person and via phone with professionalism and promptness
  • Handle guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints in a courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of room bookings, payments, and guest information
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support front desk operations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with hotel management software is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
