Eawag is the internationally networked water research institute of the ETH Domain (Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology). It conducts research, is involved in education, and provides specialised consultancy. It pursues two parallel goals: to meet the immediate human need for water and to maintain the functionality and continuity of aquatic ecosystems.
Administrative Assistant (m/f/d) 80%-100% #
To support our Directorate and Communications staff units, we are looking for a committed individual preferably to start immediately, limited to 3 years (with the possibility of later permanent employment).
You will support colleagues responsible for compliance and risk management, sustainability, stakeholder management, and fundraising in their daily operational work and take on a variety of administrative and coordination tasks. Furthermore, you will also assist the communications department with administrative duties.
Your tasks include
- Maintaining and updating our stakeholder and fundraising database (Super Office)
- Maintaining and updating various websites (CMS Typo3) for your team and the Directorate
- Administrative processing of pre- and post-related personnel and financial processes for your team and the communications department
- Organising as well as preparing and following up on meetings
- Collecting and preparing information and documents
Your profile
- A commercial apprenticeship (EFZ or equivalent)
- Several years of professional experience in an administrative or comparable role
- A structured, careful and independent working style as well as a strong service orientation
- A discreet and reliable personality with pronounced organisational skills and the ability to independently coordinate different tasks and priorities
- Enjoyment of working in a diverse team with different focuses
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written; French skills are a great advantage
- Very good MS Office skills; knowledge of content management systems for website maintenance is an advantage
