Подготовка исходных данных для составления проектов перспективных, годовых и оперативных планов хозяйственно-финансовой и производственной деятельности Института. Разработка для утверждения в установленном порядке сметы доходов и расходов по бюджетным средствам Института по предусмотренным бюджетной экономической классификацией статьям расходов в пределах общего объема затрат, установленного Институту на год, с распределением по источникам финансирования и кварталам. Составление штатного расписания в пределах утвержденного Институту Президиумом УрО РАН норматива штатной численности и фонда оплаты труда, формирующегося на основании постановлений Правительства РФ, распоряжений РАН и УрО РАН. Выполнение расчетов по материальным, трудовым и финансовым затратам, необходимых для проведения работ (услуг), исследований и разработок. Осуществление экономического анализа научно-производственной деятельности Института, разработка мероприятий по обеспечению рационального использования всех видов ресурсов. Использование современных технических средств при выполнении расчетов и вычислительных работ, участие в формировании экономической постановки задач, решаемых с их помощью. Разработка совместно с профсоюзным комитетом Положения об оплате труда в Институте геологии и геохимии УрО РАН и порядка формирования фонда оплаты труда. Оформление совместно с научными подразделениями договоров на выполнение научно-исследовательских работ и осуществление контроля за поступлением и расходом денежных средств. Ведение систематического учета коммунальных платежей по заключенным договорам с организациями-поставщиками, сверки взаиморасчетов и составления соответствующих документов. Составление и обеспечение предоставления в установленные сроки периодической и единовременной статистической отчетности (о выполнении научных исследований и разработок, о численности, заработной плате и движении работников, об объеме потребления топливно-энергетических ресурсов и др.). Руководитель планово-финансовой службы пользуется правом представительствовать в соответствующих подразделениях аппарата Президиума УрО РАН при рассмотрении вопросов финансирования и оплаты труда, получать в порядке, установленном в Институте, ото всех структурных подразделений необходимые материалы, касающиеся планирования затрат, расходования средств, использования штатов и других вопросов, связанных с деятельностью планово-финансовой службы.
