Руководит транспортным отделом, осуществляя методическое и техническое руководство производственно-хозяйственной деятельностью отдела. Организует и контролирует работу сотрудников транспортного отдела. Обеспечивает выполнение перевозок, плановую командировочную деятельность Учреждения, технически правильную эксплуатацию автомобилей, эффективное использование подвижного состава. Обеспечивает содержание подвижного состава автотранспортных средств в надлежащем, исправном состоянии и организовывает выпуск его на линию в исправном состоянии, исходя из поданных заявок, приказов и распоряжений главного врача Учреждения и его заместителя. Выявляет причины неисправностей, вызвавших простой автомобилей, и принимает меры к их устранению. Руководит работами по выполнению осмотра и ремонта на пункте технического обслуживания автотранспортных средств. Контролирует качество выполнения ремонта автотранспортных средств, их узлов и деталей в соответствии с установленной технологией и в установленные сроки. Организует контроль за работой водителей на линии и в случае необходимости оказывает им техническую помощь. Осуществляет контроль за соблюдением правил технической эксплуатации водителями автотранспортных средств. Организует обеспечение водителей необходимыми материалами, запасными частями, деталями, узлами и агрегатами необходимыми для проведения обслуживания и ремонта автотранспортных средств. Контролирует наличие и целевое использование запасных частей, деталей, узлов, агрегатов и обеспечивает их своевременное пополнение. Осуществляет контроль за соблюдением правил охраны труда, техники безопасности, пожарной безопасности и правил внутреннего распорядка водителями. Обеспечивает, в соответствии с требованиями, функционирование системы воздухопритоков, освещённости рабочих мест, подъёмных механизмов и другого оборудования, и механизмов. Разрабатывает и внедряет мероприятия, направленные на ликвидацию простоев, преждевременных возвратов автомобилей с линии из-за технических неисправностей.
