1 Участие в организации управления охраной труда в учреждении. 2 Организация работы по предупреждению производственного травматизма, профессиональных и производственно обусловленных заболеваний в учреждении. 3 Участие в проведении аттестации рабочих мест на соответствие их требованиям условий и охраны труда. 4 Организация пропаганды по охране труда. 5 Проведение вводного инструктажа со всеми вновь принимаемыми на работу работниками учреждения, командированными, учащимися и студентами, прибывшими на производственное обучение или практику. 6 Организация проведения первичного на рабочем месте, повторного, внепланового и целевого инструктажей, обучения, проверки знаний работниками учреждения требований охраны труда. 7 Участие в планировании мероприятий по охране труда, составлении отчетности по установленным формам, ведении документации по охране труда. 8 Оперативный контроль за состоянием охраны труда в учреждении. 9 Контроль за соблюдением законодательных и иных нормативных правовых актов по охране труда, в том числе за своевременностью и полнотой обеспечения работников учреждения специальной одеждой, специальной обувью и другими средствами индивидуальной защиты, за состоянием и исправностью средств индивидуальной и коллективной защиты. 10 Контроль за проведением работ по реконструкции зданий, сооружений, оборудования в учреждении. 11 Участие в организации мероприятий, направленных на улучшение условий труда в учреждении. 12 Расследование и учет несчастных случаев. 13 Участие в организации и обеспечении предотвращения техногенных чрезвычайных ситуаций на опасных производственных объектах учреждения и ликвидации их последствий.

На должность специалиста по охране труда назначается лицо, имеющее высшее профессиональное образование по направлению подготовки Техносферная безопасность или соответствующим ему направлениям подготовки (специальностям) по обеспечению безопасности производственной деятельности либо высшее профессиональное образование (профессиональная переподготовка) в области охраны труда без предъявления требований к стажу работы, либо среднее профессиональное образование и дополнительное профессиональное образование (профессиональная переподготовка) в области охраны труда и стаж работы в области охраны труда не менее 3-х лет.
