The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Acute Product Consultant based in United States.

This is a remote, field-based opportunity supporting the growth and adoption of advanced acute mechanical circulatory support solutions. You will serve as a regional clinical and product expert, helping healthcare centers understand and effectively use specialized therapies for extracorporeal life support. The role combines clinical expertise, consultative selling, education, and business development in a highly collaborative environment. You will work closely with territory sales and clinical teams to identify opportunities, develop customer relationships, and support the sales process. A key part of the position involves educating clinicians, facilitating product demonstrations, and leading post-purchase training. You will also contribute to industry engagement, clinical education, competitive strategy, and relationships with key opinion leaders. This role is well suited to a motivated healthcare professional who enjoys working directly with customers and making a meaningful impact on patient care.

Accountabilities

  • Act as a regional expert on acute mechanical circulatory support, including the use of the CentriMag blood pump system for extracorporeal life support and cannulation.
  • Identify and target new healthcare centers that may benefit from adopting the therapy, independently assessing and qualifying potential opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with clinicians and healthcare stakeholders by providing in-depth product education, clinical guidance, and best-practice recommendations.
  • Partner closely with Territory Managers and Clinical Consultants to develop opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and increase product utilization.
  • Support the sales process by coordinating with sales and business development colleagues, leading product demonstrations, and securing engagement from key clinical decision-makers.
  • Provide post-purchase education and training to healthcare teams to promote effective and appropriate product use.
  • Attend major extracorporeal life support and relevant national professional meetings as needed, representing the therapy and supporting industry engagement.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders interested in acute circulatory support and extracorporeal life support.
  • Educate sales and clinical colleagues on products, emerging trends, competitive considerations, and developments in acute circulatory support.
  • Contribute to broader business initiatives, including competitive selling strategies, product development feedback, sales-support materials, and customer education programs.
  • Collaborate effectively with clinical, training and education, marketing, technical support, management, and territory teams.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable industry standards and guidelines, protect confidential information, and responsibly manage company equipment and resources.
  • Operate effectively from a home office while managing customer communications, administrative responsibilities, and regional travel.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer needs, clinical excellence, ethical business practices, and helping healthcare professionals improve patient outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience, with 5+ years preferred.
  • Clinical experience in areas related to acute mechanical circulatory support.
  • Strong combination of clinical knowledge and sales or business-development capabilities.
  • Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities and successfully selling in a competitive environment.
  • Experience working within a team-selling model and collaborating with sales colleagues to secure customer adoption.
  • Ability to navigate complex healthcare environments and work effectively with clinicians who have different roles, priorities, communication styles, and objectives.
  • Strong ability to train, educate, and motivate clinical staff on specialized products and therapies.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • High motivation and a strong desire to support healthcare professionals and improve patient care.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with regional and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work effectively from a home office and independently manage administrative and communication responsibilities.
  • Valid driving record and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
  • Awareness of and adherence to applicable medical-device industry guidelines, including AdvaMed principles.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional credentials and handling confidential information responsibly.
  • A degree in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or another medical discipline is preferred.
  • Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) or related circulatory sciences and perfusion certification is desirable.
  • Pediatric clinical experience is a plus.
  • Competitive base salary range of $83,300–$166,600, with actual compensation varying by location and other relevant factors.
  • Remote work arrangement with significant regional travel.
  • Career development opportunities within an international healthcare environment.
  • Access to comprehensive health and wellness benefits designed to support employees and their families.
  • Medical coverage options, including eligibility for a Health Investment Plan PPO with potential employee cost advantages.
  • Retirement savings plan with a strong employer contribution.
  • Tuition reimbursement and education support programs.
  • Opportunities for professional learning, development, and career progression.
  • Work in a diverse, inclusive environment focused on innovation and meaningful healthcare outcomes.
  • Opportunity to collaborate with clinical experts, sales professionals, healthcare providers, and industry leaders.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
