This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Assistente Contábil Fiscal - Home Office (Incorporação Imobiliária) based in Brazil.
This is an opportunity to support accounting and tax operations in a fully remote environment. You will contribute to accurate financial records, tax calculations, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance. The role combines accounting routines with fiscal activities across federal, state, and municipal requirements. You will work with financial documents, tax invoices, tax assessments, and ancillary obligations. The position is well suited to someone who is organized, proactive, resilient, and attentive to detail. You will also have the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge and build a long-term career in accounting and taxation. Experience with real estate development and accounting systems will be valued as an additional advantage.
Accountabilities
- Assist with accounting classification, reconciliations, bank reconciliations, trial balances, and financial statements.
- Analyze invoices and supporting fiscal documentation, ensuring information is accurate and properly processed.
- Support the calculation and verification of taxes, including PIS, COFINS, CSLL, IRPJ, IRRF, CSRF, INSS, ISS, ICMS, IPI, and DIFAL.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of ancillary tax obligations, including DCTF, EFD Contributions, and REINF.
- Contribute to day-to-day accounting and tax activities, helping maintain accurate records and compliance with applicable requirements.
- Collaborate with the accounting and tax team to identify inconsistencies, resolve routine issues, and improve the quality and efficiency of processes.
- Currently pursuing or holding a completed bachelor's degree in Accounting Sciences (Ciências Contábeis).
- Previous knowledge or experience with accounting and tax routines.
- Basic understanding of accounting classifications, reconciliations, tax calculations, and regulatory obligations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial and tax information.
- Organized, proactive, flexible, and resilient approach to work, with willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fully remote environment.
- Experience with accounting systems such as Alterdata, UAU, RM Labore, Protheus, Sienge, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Previous experience in the real estate development/investment sector is considered an advantage.
