This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Manager, Innovation & Integration, PCS based in Mexico.
This role supports strategic growth initiatives spanning portfolio expansion, partnerships, acquisitions, and integration activities. You’ll help evaluate opportunities, develop business cases, and turn complex information into actionable recommendations. The position also contributes to the commercialization and expansion of a Clinical Outcome Assessments (COA) portfolio. You’ll collaborate with senior commercial leaders and cross-functional teams across Finance, Legal, Project Management, and Corporate Development. The environment is global, collaborative, and highly focused on innovation, investment decisions, and operational execution. This is an opportunity to combine analytical thinking, project management, and business development skills in the life sciences sector. The role is fully remote and suited to a professional who is comfortable managing multiple strategic priorities.
Accountabilities
- Conduct due diligence for potential partnerships, acquisitions, licensing opportunities, and strategic investments, analyzing relevant information and identifying key considerations.
- Develop clear, data-driven business cases, financial assumptions, and analyses to support strategic investment and portfolio decisions.
- Support commercial and business leaders throughout negotiations, stakeholder discussions, and deal-closing activities.
- Contribute to initiatives designed to expand the COA portfolio through strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and other growth opportunities.
- Support the creation of content and commercial materials that enable the effective positioning and commercialization of the COA portfolio.
- Assist with the development and implementation of processes supporting the micro-transactions strategy.
- Coordinate with Project Management, Finance, Corporate Development, Legal, and other stakeholders to facilitate deal execution and integration activities.
- Analyze business and market information, synthesize findings, and provide insights that support strategic recommendations.
- Contribute to innovation, integration, and portfolio-growth initiatives across PCS, while supporting operational activities related to active and prospective opportunities.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in mergers and acquisitions, business development, strategic partnerships, clinical research, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in business English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
- Experience supporting negotiations, business discussions, and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including coordinating initiatives across multiple functions and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate information and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, cross-functional environment.
- Preferred: experience with Clinical Outcome Assessments (COA), portfolio expansion, partnerships, acquisitions, or integration activities.
- Preferred: experience in life sciences, healthcare, consulting, technology, or related industries, as well as familiarity with clinical research and clinical development environments.
- Preferred: experience working within global, multidisciplinary organizations.
