As an Azure Cloud Administrator II, you will play a key role in maintaining the stability, performance, and reliability of cloud environments while delivering exceptional technical support to customers. You will troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues, manage critical incidents, and help ensure business continuity across Azure-based systems. Working within a globally distributed support team, you will leverage your cloud administration expertise to resolve technical challenges and support evolving customer needs. You will work with Azure infrastructure services, networking, storage, computing resources, and Windows or Linux operating systems. Through proactive monitoring, effective incident management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will help optimize cloud operations and minimize service disruptions. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your cloud expertise, contribute to continuous service improvement, and make a meaningful impact in a customer-focused technology environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Maintain the stability, availability, security, and performance of customer Azure cloud environments.
  • Respond to customer support requests through ticketing systems and phone calls, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with established service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage Level 2 support incidents raised by customers or generated through monitoring and automation tools.
  • Investigate and resolve application downtime, infrastructure outages, performance degradation, and service interruptions, prioritizing critical incidents and minimizing business impact.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure services, including compute, networking, storage, scaling, load balancing, and content delivery networks (CDNs).
  • Perform operating system administration, configuration changes, and environment maintenance across Windows and/or Linux systems.
  • Apply cloud troubleshooting methodologies and third-party or native cloud tools to maintain application stability and support customer infrastructure requirements.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of technical issues, coordinating with relevant internal teams and escalating complex problems when necessary.
  • Communicate technical findings, incident updates, and resolution plans clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, incident records, and troubleshooting procedures to support knowledge sharing and consistent service delivery.
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying recurring issues, operational bottlenecks, and opportunities to enhance support efficiency and service quality.
  • Support colleagues through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback, helping strengthen the team's technical capabilities.
  • Monitor performance indicators, including customer satisfaction, ticket response times, first-time resolution rates, peer reviews, and customer feedback.
  • Participate in weekend coverage and flexible working schedules when required to maintain service continuity.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience administering or supporting Microsoft Azure environments, with an intermediate understanding of cloud infrastructure and hosting technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Azure services and concepts, including compute, networking, storage, scaling, load balancing, and content delivery networks.
  • Practical experience with Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), including the configuration, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud resources.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems, particularly troubleshooting system stability, performance, and availability issues.
  • Understanding of cloud-native application architecture, cloud application design patterns, and best practices for reliable and scalable deployments.
  • Knowledge of cloud administration, infrastructure security, access management, networking fundamentals, and operational troubleshooting.
  • At least one industry-recognized Microsoft Azure certification at the Associate, Professional, or Specialty level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions under time pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally to customers with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Strong customer service orientation, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality technical support.
  • Effective prioritization and time-management skills, particularly when handling multiple support requests or business-critical incidents simultaneously.
  • Good documentation skills and the ability to follow established procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • A proactive attitude toward learning, keeping up with evolving cloud technologies, and developing technical expertise.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with geographically distributed, cross-functional teams.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is an advantage, although equivalent practical experience may also be relevant.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and adjusted hours when required by customer support coverage and operational needs.
  • Flexible work arrangements: Opportunity to work remotely from India or from the Gurgaon location.
  • Full-time employment: Join a global technology support environment focused on cloud infrastructure, service reliability, and customer success.
  • Technical development: Gain hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, infrastructure administration, cloud-native applications, and enterprise hosting environments.
  • Professional growth: Build expertise in incident management, cloud operations, infrastructure security, troubleshooting, and service optimization.
  • Collaborative global environment: Work alongside experienced technical professionals and contribute to knowledge sharing across distributed teams.
  • Meaningful customer impact: Help organizations maintain business continuity, improve application stability, and resolve critical technology challenges.
  • Continuous learning: Develop your skills through exposure to evolving cloud technologies, operational best practices, and process improvement initiatives.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
