As a Bilingual Metadata Specialist, you will help ensure the accuracy, quality, and cultural relevance of multilingual content across digital entertainment and consumer technology products. You will evaluate written and spoken content in your language of expertise, ensuring that metadata and localized information meet established quality standards. Working with international teams, you will contribute to quality assurance initiatives that improve the user experience across music, television, and other digital services. You will follow structured testing procedures, analyze content, and identify inconsistencies while maintaining a high level of linguistic precision. This role combines language expertise, analytical thinking, and a passion for entertainment in a fast-paced, evolving environment. If you are detail-oriented, culturally aware, and motivated to deliver high-quality results, this opportunity offers an exciting way to contribute to global digital experiences.

Accountabilities:

  • Perform quality assurance checks on digital products and multilingual metadata by accurately following testing instructions, test cases, and established review procedures.
  • Evaluate written and spoken content to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, consistency, and suitability for the intended target market.
  • Review and validate metadata and content associated with music, television, and other digital entertainment applications.
  • Identify, document, and report linguistic errors, inconsistencies, data quality issues, and deviations from project requirements.
  • Follow project-specific quality standards, brand guidelines, trademark requirements, style guides, glossaries, and client-approved checklists.
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established deadlines while maintaining consistently high quality standards.
  • Use spreadsheets and relevant tools to organize, analyze, validate, and manage metadata and quality assurance findings.
  • Collaborate with international teams to monitor and improve product quality, localization accuracy, and the reliability of partner data integrations.
  • Prioritize tasks and issues effectively, adapt to changing requirements, and make informed decisions when working with ambiguous or incomplete information.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of language usage, cultural nuances, technical terminology, and regional conventions in the assigned language.
  • Demonstrate consistency, focus, and motivation when performing repetitive review and testing tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Handle potentially sensitive or offensive content professionally, including material relating to sexuality, health, race, or violence, in accordance with project guidelines.
  • Native-level fluency in at least one of the following languages: German, French, Norwegian, Swedish, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, or Russian.
  • At least one year of professional experience in quality assurance, data analysis, metadata management, content evaluation, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with advanced spreadsheet tools and managing structured data with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Basic knowledge of Apple devices and platforms, including iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.
  • Up-to-date familiarity with current technical terminology and common language usage in the target locale.
  • Strong linguistic skills, including excellent written communication, attention to grammar and style, and an understanding of cultural context.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, consistent, and high-quality work.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to remain productive and motivated while completing repetitive, detail-intensive assignments.
  • Sound analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify inconsistencies, interpret instructions, and make reasoned judgments.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with geographically distributed teams.
  • Flexibility and adaptability when working in a fast-paced environment with evolving project requirements and procedures.
  • An interest in film, television, music, and digital entertainment, with relevant industry knowledge considered an advantage.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods, including prolonged sitting, keyboard use, mouse operation, and screen-based review.
  • Willingness to review potentially sensitive or offensive content as part of assigned quality assurance responsibilities.
  • Remote work opportunity: Work remotely from India as part of an international, collaborative team.
  • Full-time position: Contribute to ongoing multilingual content quality and digital product improvement initiatives.
  • Global collaboration: Work with international colleagues and contribute to products and services used across multiple markets.
  • Linguistic and technical development: Apply your language expertise while strengthening your skills in metadata validation, quality assurance, data analysis, and localization.
  • Digital entertainment exposure: Gain experience reviewing content and metadata related to music, television, and consumer technology services.
  • Structured quality processes: Develop practical experience with testing methodologies, quality standards, localization guidelines, and content review workflows.
  • Professional growth: Build transferable skills in data quality, linguistic evaluation, and digital content operations.
  • Salary and additional benefits: Specific compensation, healthcare coverage, paid leave, and other benefits have not been detailed in the available job description and should be confirmed during the recruitment process.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
