The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Compliance Operations Expert based in Brazil.

This role will shape the compliance foundations behind global fiat on-ramp and off-ramp payment solutions. You will bridge compliance, legal, product, and operations to create scalable and practical regulatory frameworks. The position combines traditional payment infrastructures with crypto and stablecoin settlement models. You will contribute to regulatory strategy, licensing initiatives, partner enablement, and cross-border payment solutions. Your work will span complex regulatory environments across LATAM, Europe, and MENA. The role offers significant influence over how compliant financial products are designed, launched, and operated globally. You will join a fast-moving, international environment where strong judgment, collaboration, and regulatory expertise are highly valued.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks for fiat on/off-ramp and payment products, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements across LATAM, the EU, and MENA.
  • Design compliance-ready payment and settlement models that integrate stablecoins with traditional banking and payment infrastructures.
  • Create and maintain policies, business models, SOPs, risk assessments, and other documentation required to support product launches and ongoing operations.
  • Support and coordinate regulatory license applications, including EMI, PSP, SVF, CASP, MiCAR, or equivalent frameworks, by preparing operational, compliance, and product documentation.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance advisors to ensure regulatory filings meet local jurisdictional standards and requirements.
  • Engage with regulators and external legal counsel to clarify requirements related to cross-border settlements, payment flows, and stablecoin integration.
  • Advise product, engineering, operations, and business development teams on compliance implications and help adapt product processes accordingly.
  • Identify and structure partnerships with banks, PSPs, stablecoin issuers, and payment networks that satisfy compliance and operational requirements.
  • Establish secure and auditable fund-flow models incorporating KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, reporting, and internal control processes.
  • Design region-specific compliance solutions that account for regulatory, banking, payment, and foreign-exchange environments.
  • Develop global policy templates and partner onboarding guidelines to support consistent compliance execution across jurisdictions.
  • 5–10 years of professional experience in compliance, legal, regulatory operations, payments, fintech, or crypto-related environments.
  • Proven experience building, implementing, or scaling compliance frameworks for global payment solutions or financial institutions.
  • Experience engaging with regulators and supporting license applications across multiple jurisdictions, including frameworks such as EMI, PSP, SVF, CASP, or MiCAR.
  • Strong understanding of fiat payment infrastructures, including card settlement, bank transfers, and e-money frameworks.
  • Familiarity with crypto compliance environments, including VASP models, stablecoins, and blockchain-based financial products.
  • Hands-on experience designing payment fund flows, operational policies, internal controls, and compliance processes.
  • Deep knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, risk management, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Regional exposure to LATAM payment ecosystems and crypto regulations, with familiarity with environments such as PIX and SPEI considered valuable.
  • Understanding of European frameworks such as MiCAR, PSD2, or MiFID is advantageous.
  • Awareness of MENA payment service, stored-value, and stablecoin regulatory frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong strategic and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance regulatory rigor with business agility.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with product, legal, engineering, operations, and business development teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear and actionable business and product recommendations.
  • High integrity, strong analytical capabilities, sound judgment, and a global perspective on compliance innovation.
  • Remote work opportunity based in Brazil.
  • Professional development support through a dedicated study and growth fund.
  • Access to internal events, workshops, and team-building activities that encourage collaboration and innovation.
  • Opportunity to work within a diverse and international environment alongside colleagues across global markets.
  • Career development and advancement opportunities within a rapidly expanding digital finance environment.
  • Internal mobility opportunities designed to support long-term career progression.
  • Exposure to innovative payment, fintech, crypto, stablecoin, and cross-border financial solutions.
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on global compliance frameworks and emerging financial products.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
