This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Consultor SAP MM Sr. – Suporte / Sustentação based in Brazil.

This is a senior functional SAP MM opportunity focused on supporting and sustaining a SAP S/4HANA 2025 environment. You will take ownership of incidents and service requests across purchasing, procurement, materials management, and goods receipt processes. The role requires strong functional expertise, structured problem-solving, and the ability to independently identify root causes and deliver effective solutions. You will work closely with key users, business teams, and technical specialists to resolve issues and support continuous improvements. The position also involves functional specifications, testing, documentation, impact analysis, and the implementation of corrections and enhancements. Exposure to Brazilian localization, fiscal processes, and integrations provides an opportunity to work on complex SAP scenarios. This is a fully remote role suited to an experienced SAP professional who thrives in a support and continuous-improvement environment.

Accountabilities:

  • SAP MM Support: Provide functional support and sustainment for the SAP MM module within a SAP S/4HANA 2025 environment.
  • Incident Management: Receive, analyze, diagnose, and resolve incidents and service requests related to SAP MM processes.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate functional issues systematically, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Procurement Processes: Support and troubleshoot business processes covering purchasing, procurement, materials management, goods receipt, and related activities.
  • Tax Determination: Analyze issues involving tax determination within purchasing and goods receipt processes, identifying functional impacts and appropriate resolutions.
  • Master Data: Investigate and resolve issues related to material and supplier master data, ensuring reliable information for downstream processes.
  • User Support: Work directly with key users and business stakeholders to identify problems, explain solutions, and support effective issue resolution.
  • Impact Analysis: Assess the functional impact of corrections, enhancements, and proposed changes before implementation.
  • Functional Specifications: Prepare functional specifications when required to support technical developments and system adjustments.
  • Technical Coordination: Follow up on developments and technical adjustments, ensuring that delivered solutions address the identified functional requirements.
  • Testing and Validation: Execute unit and integration tests and support user acceptance testing and homologation activities.
  • Production Deployment: Support the implementation of corrections and improvements in production environments, helping ensure a controlled and reliable transition.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation covering processes, solutions, troubleshooting approaches, and relevant functional knowledge.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Participate in meetings with business areas, key users, and technical teams to align on incidents, solutions, improvements, and priorities.
  • SAP MM Experience: Solid professional experience as a Senior SAP MM Consultant, with strong functional expertise in the module.
  • SAP S/4HANA: Proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments, with experience specifically in SAP S/4HANA 2025 considered highly desirable.
  • Support and Sustainment: Demonstrated experience providing SAP support and sustainment, including incident management, troubleshooting, and functional problem resolution.
  • Procurement and Materials Management: Strong command of purchasing and materials management processes within SAP.
  • Goods Receipt and Invoice Verification: Knowledge and practical experience with goods receipt and invoice verification processes.
  • Incident Resolution: Proven ability to analyze functional incidents, identify root causes, and implement or coordinate effective solutions.
  • Testing: Experience performing functional and integration testing and supporting user acceptance and homologation activities.
  • Business Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate operational issues into appropriate SAP solutions.
  • Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with users, key stakeholders, business teams, and technical professionals.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently in a support environment, prioritize issues, investigate problems, and drive solutions through to completion.
  • Brazilian Localization: Knowledge of SAP Brazilian localization is desirable, particularly in relation to purchasing and goods receipt fiscal processes.
  • Fiscal Processes: Experience with tax-related processes connected to procurement and goods receipt is an advantage.
  • Fiscal Integrations: Knowledge of integrations with fiscal solutions is desirable.
  • Support Tools: Experience using incident and ticket management tools is beneficial.
  • Large-Scale Environments: Previous experience working in large and complex SAP environments is an advantage.
  • 100% Remote: Work fully remotely from anywhere in Brazil.
  • Senior-Level Scope: Take ownership of functional SAP MM support within a sophisticated SAP S/4HANA environment.
  • Technical and Functional Exposure: Work across procurement, materials management, goods receipt, invoice verification, master data, taxation, integrations, and system improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute not only to incident resolution but also to functional enhancements, corrections, process improvements, and system evolution.
  • Business Interaction: Collaborate directly with key users, business areas, and technical teams, strengthening both functional and stakeholder-management expertise.
  • Complex SAP Environment: Gain exposure to large-scale SAP operations and advanced S/4HANA processes.
  • Professional Development: Deepen expertise in SAP MM, S/4HANA, Brazilian localization, fiscal processes, testing, integrations, and functional support.
