This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Partnership Growth based in the United States.
The Director, Partnership Growth will lead strategic growth initiatives that expand, strengthen, and monetize a portfolio of technology partnerships. This senior leadership role combines partnership strategy, commercial growth, business development, and operational execution in a fast-paced SaaS environment. You will identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve partner retention, and create stronger value for customers. Working across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Operations, you will turn market insights into scalable programs and measurable business outcomes. You will also shape marketplace strategy, develop rigorous business cases, and evaluate opportunities for innovation, new partnerships, and potential acquisitions. Success requires strong financial judgment, customer focus, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across a complex organization. Your work will directly contribute to revenue diversification, sustainable growth, and the evolution of the partnership ecosystem.
Accountabilities
- Grow and strengthen a portfolio of existing partnerships by identifying opportunities to increase revenue and improve the customer experience.
- Establish and implement partnership tiers that align partner benefits with their strategic and commercial contribution.
- Drive partner retention through mutual action plans, proactive relationship management, and clear value realization.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Experience teams to develop programs that increase partnership awareness, adoption, and revenue.
- Develop and execute a marketplace strategy to enhance the existing marketplace, strengthen its value proposition, and increase monetization.
- Gather market intelligence and partner insights to identify opportunities for product innovation, new partnerships, strategic investments, and potential acquisitions.
- Develop comprehensive business cases incorporating market sizing, strategic rationale, financial modeling, ROI analysis, and customer validation.
- Lead growth initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring delivery is timely, cost-effective, and tied to measurable commercial results.
- Establish scalable frameworks and performance mechanisms to monitor, optimize, and expand successful initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Operations.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment and ensure strategic initiatives translate into sustainable business impact.
- 10–15 years of experience in SaaS, technology, or another technology-driven environment, including at least 5 years in a senior strategy, growth, or operations leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional growth programs, including partnerships, go-to-market expansion, new business models, or similar strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated track record of diversifying revenue or scaling new initiatives from concept through market launch.
- Strong experience developing and managing business cases involving market sizing, ROI analysis, financial modeling, and customer validation.
- Exposure to strategic partnerships, corporate development, innovation, or venture-building is an asset.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to turn complex insights into clear, actionable growth plans.
- Excellent operational discipline and the ability to build repeatable processes and scalable frameworks.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L understanding, forecasting, modeling, and commercial analysis.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong customer-centric mindset, with experience validating concepts through customer and market feedback.
- Analytical and data-driven approach, with the ability to combine quantitative and qualitative insights when prioritizing opportunities.
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated success partnering with senior executives across multiple functions.
- Strong ability to create alignment between Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Annual base salary of $144,000–$162,000 USD, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and market considerations.
- Eligibility for additional compensation, including bonuses, commissions, equity, or other incentive programs where applicable.
