The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Federal Inside Sales Representative based in United States.

This is an inside sales opportunity focused on developing business with U.S. federal government accounts and strategic partners. You will generate new opportunities through proactive outbound outreach, account development, qualification, and consultative solution selling. Working closely with Federal Account Executives and Systems Engineers, you will help turn qualified opportunities into proposals, meetings, and closed business. The role combines sales execution with an understanding of technology, infrastructure, government contracting, and customer mission requirements. You will own and actively manage sales and lead funnels while building productive relationships with customers, partners, and assigned accounts. The position is suited to a commercially driven professional who enjoys cold calling, creative prospecting, and explaining technical solutions in accessible terms. You will contribute to projects supporting secure, reliable, and mission-ready infrastructure across U.S. federal agencies and defense environments.

Accountabilities

  • Conduct proactive outbound sales and pre-sales calls to identify opportunities, engage prospects, and present relevant solutions to assigned accounts.
  • Partner closely with Federal Account Executives and Systems Engineers to support sales objectives, strategic account plans, and revenue goals.
  • Proactively manage the sales and lead funnels by maintaining consistent engagement with customers and partners.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within assigned federal accounts and target markets.
  • Generate proposals and quotes, schedule customer meetings, and coordinate joint calls with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with authorized solution partners and other channel stakeholders to advance opportunities and support revenue generation.
  • Work closely with outside sales counterparts throughout the sales cycle to progress qualified opportunities toward closure.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers, partners, and key decision-makers.
  • Apply a creative, consultative, and solution-selling approach to secure meetings and create opportunities at multiple levels within target accounts.
  • Continuously develop technical, commercial, and industry knowledge to improve sales effectiveness and customer engagement.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity information and sales activity within relevant systems and processes.
  • Support strategic sales initiatives and contribute to the achievement of account, pipeline, and revenue objectives.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of sales experience with commercial or government accounts and a demonstrated record of sales success.
  • At least 2 years of cold-calling experience, ideally within the IT industry or selling data center-related products and solutions.
  • Working knowledge of business processes, IT trends, market strategy, profit and loss concepts, and government contracting.
  • Strong ability to identify customer needs, qualify opportunities, and communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership, time management, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business development capabilities with the ability to create and maintain productive relationships across assigned accounts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging customers, partners, engineers, and sales leaders.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a team-based sales environment while independently managing a pipeline.
  • Creative, proactive, persistent, and motivated by outbound prospecting and new business development.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Ability to work with customers and partners supporting U.S. federal government programs and related security requirements.
  • Annual compensation range of $86,400–$129,600.
  • Fully remote position based in the United States.
  • Opportunity to sell technology and infrastructure solutions into the U.S. federal government market.
  • Close collaboration with Federal Account Executives, Systems Engineers, partners, and outside sales professionals.
  • Exposure to IT, data center, digital energy, infrastructure, and government contracting environments.
  • Opportunity to develop expertise in federal sales, consultative selling, and solution-based business development.
  • High-impact work supporting secure, reliable, energy-efficient, and mission-ready government infrastructure.
  • Opportunity to build relationships with federal customers, strategic partners, and key decision-makers.
  • Full-time position within a specialized federal business environment supporting both classified and unclassified programs.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
