This is an opportunity to influence executive decision-making and help scale a growing organization in a dynamic, innovation-driven industry.

Accountabilities

  • Lead financial planning and reporting: Direct the financial planning and analysis function, overseeing annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range strategic planning, and capital allocation to support business objectives and sustainable growth.
  • Develop financial models and performance insights: Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses, and evaluate revenue, expenses, margins, and key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Oversee investor reporting: Manage the preparation and delivery of monthly consolidated financial reporting packages for private equity investors, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Partner with executive leadership: Collaborate with senior management and business leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights on costs, investments, profitability, and growth opportunities. Support executive, board-level, lender, and investor presentations.
  • Drive cross-functional financial performance: Work closely with Accounting, Sales, Human Resources, IT, and operational teams to coordinate expense management, headcount planning, performance monitoring, and corrective action initiatives.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions: Contribute to financial due diligence, transaction modeling, investment analysis, and synergy assessments. Lead the integration of financial planning and reporting processes for acquired businesses.
  • Optimize sales compensation strategies: Partner with Sales and HR leadership to design, model, and implement incentive plans aligned with business growth objectives. Evaluate the financial implications of compensation structures and recommend improvements based on data.
  • Advance finance automation and AI adoption: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive financial workflows, improve reporting efficiency, and strengthen analytical capabilities through AI-enabled tools and technology-driven solutions.
  • Ensure responsible use of AI and financial technology: Validate AI-generated analyses and outputs for accuracy, reliability, and strategic relevance before sharing insights with leadership or investors.
  • Improve financial systems and processes: Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, planning tools, reporting infrastructure, and data workflows to support scalability, transparency, and organizational accountability.
  • Manage strategic and ad hoc initiatives: Deliver financial analysis and recommendations for emerging business priorities, investment decisions, and other management requests while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and financial integrity.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or CPA qualification is preferred.
  • Professional experience: Approximately 9–11 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, finance, or accounting, with a proven ability to lead financial planning processes in a high-growth, fast-paced organization.
  • Private equity experience: Demonstrated experience in a private equity-backed business, including familiarity with investor reporting requirements, financial reporting cycles, performance monitoring, and value-creation strategies.
  • Industry and business model knowledge: Experience in a services-oriented business is preferred. Exposure to managed service providers (MSPs), managed security service providers (MSSPs), SaaS, or other recurring-revenue models is a strong advantage.
  • Recurring-revenue metrics: Strong understanding of subscription and services-based business metrics, including annual recurring revenue (ARR), churn, net revenue retention (NRR), and customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Financial modeling expertise: Proven ability to develop and interpret complex financial models, including net present value (NPV), return on investment (ROI), accretion/dilution analysis, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.

  • Strategic and analytical thinking: Strong business judgment and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data, market trends, and operational challenges into practical recommendations and measurable outcomes.
  • Communication and presentation skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities, including the capacity to explain complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders and senior executives.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
