The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full Stack Microsoft Developer based in the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile software developer to build secure, scalable applications and integrations within a mission-driven organization focused on environmental sustainability. In this remote role, you will develop solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem, connecting enterprise platforms, cloud services, and customer-facing applications. You will focus primarily on backend development and system integration while contributing to responsive, user-friendly frontend experiences. Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and technical teams, you will translate complex requirements into reliable, production-ready solutions. You will also play a key role in improving application performance, strengthening security, and resolving technical issues through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement. This position combines modern development practices, cloud technologies, and cross-functional collaboration with the opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable, circular economy.

Accountabilities:

  • Full-stack application development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, production-ready applications using C#, modern .NET, React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related technologies.
  • API development and integration: Build and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and cloud-based integrations using Azure API Management, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Durable Functions, and other relevant Microsoft Azure services.
  • Enterprise platform connectivity: Develop and support integrations across Dynamics 365 CRM, Business Central, Power Platform, Microsoft Graph, web applications, and external systems using reusable APIs, events, workflows, webhooks, and middleware patterns.
  • Security and identity management: Implement secure authentication and authorization practices using OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra identity solutions, alongside secret management through Azure Key Vault and appropriate application security controls.
  • Frontend development and user experience: Build responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces using React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and component-based development approaches.
  • Technical design and implementation: Translate business requirements, wireframes, and prototypes into practical technical solutions, balancing performance, maintainability, security, delivery timelines, and long-term platform sustainability.
  • Application monitoring and troubleshooting: Monitor production applications and integrations, investigate defects, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement lasting fixes that reduce recurring issues and technical debt.
  • Development lifecycle and release management: Use GitHub and/or Azure DevOps for source control, pull requests, code reviews, testing, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), work tracking, and technical documentation.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with developers, architects, business analysts, product owners, project management teams, quality assurance specialists, vendors, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve blockers, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Quality assurance and continuous improvement: Apply testing, observability, accessibility, localization, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility practices to improve application reliability and user experience.
  • Technical documentation and knowledge sharing: Document architectural decisions, implementation details, integration patterns, and troubleshooting procedures to support maintainability and effective collaboration across teams.
  • Mission-driven innovation: Contribute to technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency, strengthen enterprise capabilities, and support environmental sustainability and responsible resource management.
  • Professional development experience: Demonstrated ability to deliver full-stack web applications through professional employment, substantial projects, technical training, military service, community experience, or another relevant pathway.
  • Backend development expertise: Strong hands-on proficiency with C#, modern .NET, RESTful APIs, JSON, API security, and Azure-hosted applications or integration services.
  • Frontend development skills: Ability to develop API-connected user interfaces using React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Enterprise integration experience: Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot integrations involving Dynamics 365 CRM, Business Central, Power Platform, or comparable customer relationship management and enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Microsoft Azure knowledge: Familiarity with cloud application development and deployment, including relevant Azure services and practices for secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.
  • Preferred education and experience: A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field, combined with at least five years of relevant full-stack development, application integration, or Microsoft cloud platform experience; alternatively, seven or more years of equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • Advanced Azure services: Experience with Azure API Management, App Services, Functions, Durable Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure SQL is an advantage.
  • Microsoft ecosystem integrations: Experience connecting Dynamics 365 CRM and Business Central through APIs, Dataverse, Power Automate, webhooks, events, or middleware solutions is highly desirable.
  • Additional Microsoft technologies: Familiarity with Microsoft Graph, Microsoft 365 APIs, Power Platform, Power BI integrations, Power Pages, Bootstrap, JSON Forms, Liquid templates, Blazor, Entity Framework, or SignalR is beneficial.
  • Software quality and production support: Experience with automated testing, code reviews, refactoring, technical documentation, application observability, accessibility, localization, cross-browser testing, and production issue resolution.
  • Technical judgment: Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into practical technical solutions while identifying dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and implementation priorities.
  • Ownership and accountability: Willingness to take responsibility for projects from initial design through deployment and ongoing production support, following through on issues and documenting key decisions.
  • Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, including structured root-cause analysis and the ability to implement improvements that prevent recurring defects.
  • Communication and collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, participate constructively in code reviews, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Adaptability and continuous learning: Comfortable working across backend development, integrations, frontend technologies, cloud infrastructure, and production support as priorities and business needs evolve.
  • Values and cultural alignment: Genuine interest in contributing to a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative environment where diversity, equity, inclusion, and environmental sustainability are valued.
  • Work authorization and location: Must be based in the United States and legally authorized to work in the country. The employer participates in E-Verify.
  • Travel availability: Willingness to travel occasionally, approximately three to four times per year, for conferences, customer meetings, or organization-wide events.
  • Working schedule: Availability for a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule, generally eight hours per day, with flexibility in working arrangements where business requirements and team collaboration allow.
  • Competitive annual salary: $100,000–$130,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and relevant expertise.
  • Annual performance bonus: Eligibility for an impact-based annual bonus tied to the applicable compensation program.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits: A well-rounded benefits package designed to support employee health, well-being, and productivity.
  • Paid time off: Time-off benefits that support personal needs, rest, and work-life balance.
  • Flexible scheduling: Flexible working arrangements where the role and operational requirements permit.
  • Remote work: A United States-based remote position offering flexibility while maintaining strong collaboration across teams.
  • Professional development: Opportunities to expand expertise in Microsoft technologies, cloud services, enterprise integrations, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Collaborative work environment: The opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary teams that value innovation, shared knowledge, and diverse perspectives.
  • Purpose-driven work: The chance to contribute to environmental sustainability by supporting battery collection, recycling, resource recovery, and a more circular economy.
  • Inclusive workplace culture: A commitment to equal employment opportunity, diversity, equity, inclusion, and professional respect.
  • Employee support: Access to an accommodation process for candidates who need assistance during the application or interview stages.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
