The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a HR Senior Manager based in Mexico.

As HR Senior Manager, you will serve as a strategic People partner for business units across Latin America, supporting leaders and employees throughout the full employee lifecycle. You will combine employee experience, organizational effectiveness, talent development, and people operations with hands-on talent acquisition responsibilities. The role offers broad exposure to senior leadership, giving you the opportunity to influence workforce planning, engagement, performance, retention, and organizational change. You will build trusted relationships with managers and employees while providing practical guidance on employee relations, development, performance, and workplace challenges. Alongside your People Care responsibilities, you will lead full-cycle recruitment for technical and corporate positions, including specialized technology roles. Working in a global, remote environment, you will collaborate daily with U.S.-based stakeholders and distributed teams across Latin America. This is an impactful opportunity for an empathetic, commercially minded HR leader who can balance strategic thinking with strong operational execution.

Accountabilities

  • Act as the primary HR partner for employees, managers, Directors, and business leaders across assigned Latin American business units, building trusted relationships and aligning people strategies with business priorities.
  • Support the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement, performance management, career development, internal mobility, promotions, compensation changes, transfers, and offboarding.
  • Conduct regular employee check-ins to understand engagement levels, identify concerns, support retention, and proactively address emerging people-related challenges.
  • Advise managers and leaders on employee relations, coaching, performance management, conflict resolution, organizational development, and effective HR practices.
  • Support workforce planning and organizational changes, providing people-focused guidance during promotions, restructurings, internal movements, and other business transformations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate performance review cycles, development planning, and initiatives designed to strengthen employee growth and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives that promote collaboration, recognition, inclusion, culture, and long-term retention.
  • Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, retention, engagement, and organizational trends, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Ensure HR policies, processes, documentation, and employee records are accurately maintained and applied consistently across Latin America while protecting confidentiality.
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, Payroll, and leadership teams to support people operations and continuously improve HR processes.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and corporate positions, from defining hiring needs and sourcing candidates through interviews, offers, documentation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Partner with hiring managers to establish role requirements, recruitment strategies, and effective selection processes.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and proactive direct-sourcing strategies, particularly for niche and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Conduct HR and behavioral interviews in English and coordinate interview processes with hiring managers and technical interviewers.
  • Maintain strong candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey while managing ATS records, recruiting pipelines, and recruitment metrics.
  • Support employer branding, talent attraction, proactive sourcing, and broader initiatives designed to strengthen the organization's talent pipeline.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Human Resources, HR Business Partner, People Operations, People Care, or a comparable function.
  • 3+ years of experience managing full-cycle recruitment, preferably for IT, technology, engineering, or other specialized roles.
  • Advanced or native-level English proficiency (C1/C2) with excellent written and verbal communication skills, given the daily interaction with U.S.-based leaders, employees, candidates, and global stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting employee relations, performance management, engagement, career development, organizational development, and workforce planning.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and managers within multinational or globally distributed organizations.
  • Experience supporting remote and multicultural teams across Latin America.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices across the employee lifecycle and the ability to translate them into practical business solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with ATS platforms, HRIS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other HR or recruiting technologies.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including experience working with HR analytics, recruiting KPIs, engagement data, retention metrics, and workforce planning information.
  • Excellent coaching, stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational execution.
  • Highly proactive, empathetic, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with the confidence to operate independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience in consulting, technology, or professional services organizations is considered an advantage.
  • Experience recruiting technical and engineering talent is a plus.
  • Familiarity with U.S. business culture and experience working within global organizations is beneficial.
  • Experience leading employee engagement, retention, organizational development, or change management initiatives is a strong advantage.
  • 100% remote working arrangement.
  • Full-time employment with a globally distributed team.
  • Opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and influence people strategy across Latin America.
  • Broad HR scope combining strategic People Care, organizational development, employee experience, and talent acquisition.
  • Opportunity to recruit for both business and technical positions, including specialized technology roles.
  • International and multicultural working environment with regular collaboration across regions.
  • Opportunities to contribute to workforce planning, organizational change, employee engagement, and talent development initiatives.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a global organization.
  • A role offering a balance of strategic influence and hands-on HR execution.
  • Working schedule aligned with 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Mexico time.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
