This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Key Account Manager CEE based in United Kingdom.

As Key Account Manager CEE, you will play a central role in developing and strengthening strategic customer partnerships across Poland and the wider Central and Eastern European region. You will work closely with food processors, contract laboratories, and senior stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions that create lasting value. The role combines strategic account management, commercial development, relationship building, and data-driven decision-making. You will take ownership of key accounts, developing tailored strategies that strengthen customer relationships and deliver sustainable revenue growth. Using CRM insights, KPIs, and market intelligence, you will identify opportunities, optimize account performance, and continuously improve the customer experience. You will collaborate with regional and cross-functional teams in an international environment, bringing together commercial, technical, marketing, and customer support expertise. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on food safety while shaping strategic partnerships across a dynamic and important regional market.

Accountabilities

  • Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic accounts, particularly food processors and contract laboratories across Poland and the wider CEE region.
  • Engage with stakeholders at multiple levels of customer organizations, including quality, laboratory, procurement, and senior management teams, to understand business priorities and identify opportunities to deliver relevant solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans designed to increase customer value, strengthen partnerships, improve retention, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, responding to customer enquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying ways to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and monitor account performance, sales activity, and key performance indicators to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Use CRM data and tools such as Salesforce to analyze account performance, identify commercial opportunities, and support informed account decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with regional account teams, professional services, marketing, customer support, and other internal stakeholders to deliver coordinated customer strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to refine account plans and identify new business development opportunities.
  • Contribute to broader commercial strategy and continuous improvement initiatives across the CEE market.
  • Proven experience in key account management, strategic sales, business development, or a comparable customer-facing commercial role.
  • Experience working within, or strong knowledge of, the food processing, food safety, laboratory, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders across different organizational levels, from operational specialists to senior decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical capabilities, with experience using performance data, KPIs, and CRM insights to manage accounts and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ability to translate customer needs and business challenges into relevant, value-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with confidence engaging both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills, combined with a proactive and customer-focused mindset.
  • Professional fluency in Polish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required to meet customers and support regional business priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple strategic accounts, priorities, and stakeholders effectively.
  • A commercially minded, collaborative, and results-oriented approach with a strong focus on customer success.
  • Senior, customer-focused position with significant responsibility across strategic accounts in the CEE region.
  • Opportunity to contribute directly to customer success, commercial growth, and long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Opportunity to represent a recognized portfolio of food safety solutions supporting product quality and consumer wellbeing.
  • Collaboration with experienced regional and cross-functional teams within an international business environment.
  • Standard benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career development.
  • Exposure to strategic account management, commercial planning, market development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the future of food safety across Central and Eastern Europe.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
