The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Market Curation Editor — Politics based in India.

In this role, you will serve as the crucial human judgment layer for an innovative social-predictions platform, reviewing and refining daily political prediction markets. Operating in a high-impact, fully remote environment as part of the Product Data Operations team, you will evaluate system-generated markets for factual accuracy, absolute clarity, and strict resolution criteria. You will actively track electoral developments, campaign schedules, and breaking political news to ensure precise market timing and apply accurate settlement conventions. This position calls for deep, real-time subject-matter expertise in U.S. politics, polling mechanics, election administration, and official result certification. Beyond daily curation, you will handle complex edge cases, author live market clarifications, and perform proactive gap scans to capture unlisted political events. This is an exceptional opportunity for a data-minded political editor or market analyst to shape the integrity and quality of live prediction markets on a global scale.

Accountabilities:

  • Market Review & Verification: Evaluate a daily queue of system-generated political prediction markets against strict deadlines, assessing factual accuracy, clarity, and unambiguous resolution criteria linked to named authoritative sources.
  • Settlement Conventions: Apply precise resolution rules across diverse political events, including election calls, concession timing, recounts, runoff triggers, ballot measures, legislative vote counts, and official statistical corrections.
  • Timeline & Event Management: Verify and adjust open and close timing for political events, accounting for scheduled and unscheduled delays such as recounts, runoff elections, and certification hold-ups.
  • Clarifications & Exception Handling: Author timestamped clarifications for live markets experiencing ambiguity and resolve settlement exceptions that automated data feeds cannot process (e.g., contested results or litigation).
  • Proactive Gap Scanning: Continuously monitor live markets for errors while tracking campaign schedules, polling releases, and political press feeds to identify and draft missed political events.
  • Editorial Consistency: Approve, edit, or reject candidate markets while recording structured reasoning for every decision, participating in weekly calibration reviews to maintain platform-wide standards.
  • Domain Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in political trading/prediction markets, political data operations, political or data journalism, polling, or election modeling.
  • U.S. Political Fluency: Deep, current fluency in real-time U.S. politics and elections across federal, state, and major local races, combined with strong familiarity with political media ecosystems.
  • Election Mechanics: Solid working knowledge of official election administration, certification timelines, recount thresholds, runoff triggers, and authoritative result sources.
  • Edge-Case Judgment: Proven ability to make defensible decisions on edge cases, such as contested results, litigation, ballot curing, and delayed official calls.
  • Written Precision: Exceptional written communication skills under tight deadline pressure, with the ability to write unambiguous resolution rules that hold up post-outcome.
  • Policy & Escalation Instincts: Comfort working within structured content policy frameworks, with the clear instinct to escalate ambiguous or politically sensitive topics rather than guess.
  • Flexible Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends around major political events, debates, primaries, and election nights.
  • 100% Remote Flexibility: Complete location independence.
  • Competitive Compensation: Attractive compensation package aligned with your specialized political domain expertise.
  • High-Impact Domain: Direct, high-visibility role in shaping the accuracy, transparency, and quality of real-time prediction markets.
  • Collaborative Culture: Join a dynamic, high-trust digital environment working alongside experienced data operations and editorial specialists.
  • Professional Exposure: Opportunities to engage with cutting-edge data operations tools, AI-assisted pipelines, and sophisticated market settlement frameworks.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
