This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Partner Development Manager (MSSP), Acquisition based in United States.
This role focuses on recruiting strategic Managed Service and Managed Security Service Providers and turning partnerships into scalable, revenue-generating security offerings. You will play a key role in expanding the partner ecosystem and accelerating growth through a partner-centric go-to-market strategy. The position combines enterprise cybersecurity sales, strategic account development, partner enablement, and service offering creation. You will work closely with internal sales teams and external partners to launch new offerings and strengthen market adoption. Success requires strong knowledge of modern security solutions and the ability to engage both technical and business decision-makers. You will operate in a competitive, fast-moving technology environment where initiative, organization, and above-quota performance are highly valued. This is a remote U.S. opportunity for an experienced security sales professional with a strong MSSP network and a proven record of building strategic partnerships.
Accountabilities:
- Recruit and develop new strategic Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), building relationships that generate sustainable revenue and expand the reach of security solutions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive cybersecurity landscape and clearly communicate the value of security products and services compared with competing solutions.
- Keep partners informed about relevant product updates, MSP/MSSP program developments, and evolving capabilities, while collaborating with internal teams to create compelling service offerings.
- Work directly with partners to develop service offerings, launch materials, and go-to-market content that support successful adoption and revenue generation.
- Drive program management and governance for service offering launches, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, enablement activities, and launch requirements.
- Evangelize partner-developed service offerings across the sales organization while bringing partner feedback, market intelligence, and customer needs back to internal teams.
- Prepare and deliver accurate weekly forecasts for MSP/MSSP revenue across the assigned territory, maintaining strong visibility into pipeline, performance, and expected outcomes.
- Stay closely aligned with local sales and cross-functional teams on forecasting, partner enablement, new partnership launches, and ongoing growth initiatives.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or possess equivalent professional experience.
- Bring 5+ years of above-quota sales experience, preferably in a Regional Sales Executive or Sales Manager capacity selling cybersecurity solutions across areas such as endpoint, identity, data, and cloud.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of modern cybersecurity solutions and the ability to articulate their business and technical value to enterprise customers and partners.
- Have proven enterprise sales experience and an actionable network of MSSP decision-makers, with the ability to establish and expand strategic partner relationships.
- Possess strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, enabling effective communication with a diverse range of technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, reporting, forecasting, and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously.
- Have experience developing or expanding sales enablement capabilities in a rapidly changing and highly competitive technology market.
- Bring experience working with channel partners and a strong understanding of partner-centric go-to-market strategies and business models.
- Demonstrate a highly motivated, results-oriented mindset and a willingness to take ownership and do what is necessary to consistently exceed performance targets.
- Prior experience in a startup or similarly fast-paced technology environment is advantageous.
- On-target earnings (OTE) of $221,000–$270,000 USD, inclusive of base salary and commissions, with the applicable range varying based on candidate location.
