The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Owner, Xsolla Partner Network based in Canada.

This is a hands-on product role focused on growing a two-sided marketplace that connects game publishers with content creators. You will work directly with both customer groups to understand their needs, uncover opportunities, and translate insights into product improvements. The role combines customer discovery, product strategy, requirements definition, roadmap coordination, and day-to-day delivery. You will partner closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and QA to turn ideas into well-defined, high-quality features. You will also help establish meaningful product metrics and use customer and performance data to guide future priorities. As part of a globally distributed and fast-moving team, you will have significant influence over a product operating at the intersection of gaming, creator marketing, and technology. This is an ideal opportunity for a product professional who enjoys ambiguity, customer interaction, and turning real-world insights into shipped products.

Accountabilities

  • Conduct ongoing customer research with both game publishers and content creators to understand their goals, challenges, behaviors, and evolving needs.
  • Monitor trends across gaming, creator marketing, influencer platforms, and the broader creator economy to identify product opportunities.
  • Translate customer insights and business needs into actionable product recommendations and priorities.
  • Partner with the Product Director to develop and maintain a roadmap that balances the needs of publishers, creators, and the broader marketplace.
  • Create clear, structured, and actionable product requirements and PRDs that enable Design and Engineering teams to execute effectively.
  • Manage product delivery through Jira, coordinating Design, Engineering, and QA from project kickoff through release.
  • Work closely with engineers on scope, sequencing, prioritization, dependencies, and backlog management.
  • Define, monitor, and interpret product metrics that demonstrate marketplace performance and customer value.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to evaluate product performance and inform future roadmap decisions.
  • Serve as a central point of communication for product initiatives, keeping internal stakeholders informed about customer insights, project progress, releases, and product direction.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure teams understand upcoming product changes and their implications for customers and partners.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, with a track record of shipping software alongside dedicated Engineering teams.
  • Strong customer discovery skills and a demonstrated ability to turn customer conversations into actionable product insights.
  • Experience working with products serving multiple user groups, with the ability to balance competing needs and design solutions that create value across an ecosystem.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with experience producing clear product requirements, PRDs, user stories, and other product documentation.
  • Strong day-to-day collaboration skills with Engineering, Design, and QA teams, including experience managing backlogs and coordinating work in Jira.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills and the ability to act as a reliable product resource for stakeholders across an organization.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, globally distributed environment where priorities and requirements may evolve.
  • Good understanding of video game marketing, including user acquisition, community development, influencer campaigns, or related growth strategies.
  • Familiarity with creator platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, or Kick, including creator analytics, audience development, and monetization models.
  • Experience with two-sided marketplaces or platform products is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with revenue-share, performance-based, or other partner commercial models is a plus.
  • Familiarity with campaign attribution, tracking links, conversion measurement, or marketing performance analytics is beneficial.
  • Comfort working with data and using analytics tools to investigate product performance and support decision-making.
  • Competitive compensation, with the advertised U.S. salary range of $90,000–$125,000 USD annually; compensation for Canada and other locations is determined according to location and experience.
  • Fully remote work opportunity, with the role open to candidates globally.
  • 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Unlimited Flexible Time Off.
  • Personalized career roadmap to support long-term professional development.
  • Training and educational opportunities to strengthen product, technical, and leadership skills.
  • A collaborative, globally distributed environment that values creativity, inclusion, and teamwork.
  • A culture focused on physical, mental, and emotional well-being for employees and their families.
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of gaming, creator platforms, digital marketing, and marketplace technology.
  • An inclusive workplace committed to equal opportunity and respect for diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
