The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Robotics DevRel Engineer based in the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for a robotics and machine learning expert to help shape how practitioners build and deploy AI-powered robotic systems. You will work at the intersection of robotics, computer vision, machine learning, and data infrastructure. The role combines hands-on engineering with developer relations, technical education, content creation, and community engagement. You will support a growing technical community while building integrations with robotics tools, models, datasets, and simulation environments. You will also create practical resources and represent the technology at conferences, workshops, meetups, and hackathons. This is a fully remote role within a collaborative, autonomous, and community-driven environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide thoughtful, technically accurate support to users through community channels such as Slack, Stack Overflow, and Reddit, including helping robotics engineers solve real-world deployment challenges.
  • Develop technical integrations connecting computer vision and data tooling with robotics technologies, perception frameworks, simulation environments, sensor data formats, models, and datasets.
  • Write high-quality technical blogs, tutorials, guides, and documentation covering topics at the intersection of robotics, machine learning, and data infrastructure, including robot learning, vision-language-action models, world models, and sim-to-real workflows.
  • Produce engaging technical video content, including short-form social media videos and longer educational content designed for robotics and machine learning practitioners.
  • Create and deliver educational courses, workshops, and training sessions both online and in person, with a focus on computer vision and machine learning applications in robotics.
  • Support and participate in community-building initiatives, including meetups, hackathons, conferences, workshops, and other events focused on robotics and autonomous systems.
  • Speak at technical events and engage directly with the broader robotics and AI community to share practical knowledge, demonstrate solutions, and strengthen developer adoption.
  • 3+ years of professional machine learning experience, including hands-on application of computer vision to robotics systems such as perception, navigation, manipulation, or autonomous vehicles.
  • Master's or PhD degree in computer science, robotics, or a related discipline, ideally with a focus on computer vision.
  • Practical experience working with robotics-specific data formats, tools, and workflows, including multimodal sensor data such as MCAP or LeRobot and simulation platforms such as Isaac Sim.
  • Strong Python programming skills and proficiency with machine learning and scientific computing libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and NumPy.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex robotics and machine learning concepts clearly to technical audiences.
  • Experience creating technical video content using screen-recording and video-editing tools.
  • A portfolio of technical work is highly valued, including blogs, articles, research papers, tutorials, GitHub repositories, or other publicly accessible projects.
  • Experience speaking at conferences, workshops, meetups, or other technical events is a strong plus, particularly within robotics, autonomous systems, or computer vision communities.
  • Active participation in open-source communities, especially robotics-related projects, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment while collaborating through tools such as GitHub, Slack, and other distributed development platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, autonomy, and enthusiasm for engaging with developers and technical communities.
  • Cash compensation in the range of $190,000–$240,000.
  • Equity in the form of stock options in addition to base compensation.
  • A variety of employee benefits designed to support your professional and personal well-being.
  • Fully remote work within the United States.
  • A flexible, human-first working environment built around autonomy, trust, and respect.
  • The opportunity to work at the intersection of robotics, computer vision, machine learning, and real-world AI applications.
  • The opportunity to contribute to open-source technology and engage with a growing global technical community.
  • Opportunities to create technical content, speak at industry events, build integrations, and establish yourself as a voice within the robotics and AI ecosystem.
  • A collaborative environment where community, technical excellence, and individual ownership are highly valued.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
