The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce CRM Project Manager based in the United States.

Lead large-scale Salesforce implementation projects that drive business transformation, operational efficiency, and organizational growth. In this role, you will partner with senior leaders, business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver CRM solutions that align people, processes, and technology. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and resource allocation to implementation, change management, and operational readiness. By managing risks, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and performance indicators, you will help ensure successful delivery across multiple business units. You will also champion stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement, and standardized project management practices within a complex, global business environment. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced project leader who combines strong technical understanding with business acumen and the ability to turn strategic objectives into measurable results.

Accountabilities

  • Lead Salesforce implementation projects: Manage large-scale Salesforce and CRM software implementations from initiation through completion, defining project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, procurement requirements, and delivery plans.
  • Drive project execution and delivery: Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet established expectations for quality, accuracy, completeness, and business value. Maintain clear milestones and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage organizational change: Lead change management activities across multiple business units, engaging stakeholders at different organizational levels and helping teams adapt to new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
  • Oversee vendor and consultant performance: Monitor internal and external delivery teams against established KPIs, manage vendor relationships, address performance gaps, and develop project scorecards that support informed decisions and measurable business outcomes.
  • Manage project risks and dependencies: Maintain comprehensive tracking of risks, issues, decisions, actions, and changes (RIDAC). Identify potential blockers early, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and proactively manage dependencies and critical paths.
  • Maintain project plans and controls: Keep project management tools and schedules up to date with accurate milestones, tasks, resource assignments, and project health indicators. Coordinate multiple workstreams and project plans across departments and teams.
  • Manage scope and change control: Assess proposed changes, communicate their impact on timelines, costs, resources, and deliverables, and ensure changes are evaluated and managed through established governance processes.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and resources: Build strong relationships across IT, business functions, senior leadership, subject matter experts, and vendors. Ensure the right people are involved at the right time and that decisions, handoffs, and follow-up actions are completed effectively.
  • Support strategic and operational decision-making: Gather stakeholder input, identify organizational needs, and provide practical recommendations that align project execution with broader business priorities.
  • Maintain project documentation and governance: Produce and manage project plans, status reports, decision logs, process documentation, and other required artifacts throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure documentation supports project teams, end users, operational controls, and internal or financial audits.
  • Ensure operational readiness: Coordinate launch preparation, stakeholder approvals, support team readiness, implementation documentation, and project closure activities to ensure solutions can be adopted and supported effectively.
  • Promote continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline project delivery, enhance implementation processes, standardize best practices, and improve future project outcomes.
  • Communicate project status and performance: Provide clear updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions. Represent project leadership in meetings when necessary and ensure effective communication across stakeholders and workstreams.
  • Project management experience: At least five years of experience managing large software implementation projects, preferably involving Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
  • Salesforce implementation expertise: Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce solutions and coordinating the business and technical activities required for successful deployment.
  • Vendor management: Experience overseeing third-party vendors, external consultants, and cross-functional delivery teams, including monitoring performance against agreed timelines and KPIs.
  • CRM and enterprise systems knowledge: Understanding of CRM and ERP platforms and their role in enabling business process improvement, technology adoption, and organizational change.
  • Large-scale project delivery: Experience managing complex projects valued at $3 million or more, lasting at least six months, and involving cross-functional teams.
  • Project management methodologies: Strong knowledge of project delivery best practices, governance frameworks, risk management, change control, and implementation planning.
  • Project management tools: Hands-on experience with one or more project management platforms, such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, or Jira.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, and SharePoint, as well as related project reporting and collaboration tools.
  • Business and financial acumen: Ability to understand business priorities, financial considerations, resource requirements, and technology implications when making project decisions.
  • Leadership and stakeholder engagement: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, establish trusted relationships, and coordinate people across different functions, cultures, and organizational levels.
  • Communication and presentation skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present project status, explain complex issues, facilitate meetings, and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, critical thinking, and the ability to assess risks, resolve issues, manage competing priorities, and make evidence-based decisions.
  • Emotional intelligence: Ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships, manage disagreements constructively, and build trust across diverse teams.
  • Global business awareness: Comfort working in a global business environment with multiple departments, regional stakeholders, and interdependent operational requirements.
  • Preferred industry experience: Experience working within a global manufacturing organization is an advantage.
  • Preferred certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. Salesforce Specialist, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, Six Sigma, Lean, and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications are also beneficial.
  • Location and travel requirements: Candidates must reside in Georgia and be within driving distance of the corporate office in the Atlanta Perimeter area. Approximately 15% travel or more may be required based on business needs, including attendance at in-person meetings at designated locations.
  • Competitive annual salary: Base compensation ranging from $100,000 to $120,000.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
