This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced software engineer to build scalable, high-performance applications that transform artificial intelligence and machine learning insights into impactful user experiences. You will work across the full stack, developing robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and intuitive front-end interfaces. Leveraging modern cloud technologies, you will help deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that address complex business challenges. You will collaborate closely with solutions architects and cross-functional engineering teams to translate technical and business requirements into effective applications. The role combines hands-on development, cloud-native architecture, automation, and continuous improvement in a data-driven, innovation-focused environment. If you enjoy solving challenging engineering problems and building technology that turns data into meaningful outcomes, this opportunity offers an excellent platform to make an impact.

Accountabilities

  • Full-Stack Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and workflows using modern software architectures and 12-factor application principles.
  • Backend Engineering: Build and maintain robust backend services using Python, ensuring performance, reliability, maintainability, and seamless integration with AI and machine learning systems.
  • API Development and Microservices: Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerized services that support efficient application delivery and integration across systems.
  • Front-End Development: Create intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces using modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Cloud-Native Solutions: Develop, deploy, and scale applications using Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure, leveraging managed cloud services, containerization, and asynchronous event-driven architectures.
  • Database Management: Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL Server, supporting data modeling, schema management, and database migrations.
  • Application Quality and Testing: Implement appropriate testing frameworks and quality assurance practices to validate functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • DevOps and Release Management: Contribute to automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), deployment strategies, and release management to improve development efficiency.
  • Security and Performance Optimization: Maintain high standards for code quality, application security, system reliability, and compliance with non-functional requirements.
  • Architecture and Technical Collaboration: Partner with solutions architects and engineering colleagues to ensure application designs align with business objectives, technical specifications, and architectural standards.
  • Agile Development: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, architecture discussions, design reviews, and other Agile ceremonies to support effective collaboration and timely delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Troubleshoot complex technical issues, improve existing systems, and contribute to engineering best practices, reusable components, and scalable development processes.
  • Professional Experience: At least 4 years of professional software development experience building and maintaining full-stack applications.
  • Python Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python for backend development, service implementation, and application integration.
  • Full-Stack Development: Demonstrated experience developing front-end applications using JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.

  • Containerization and Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for packaging, deploying, and managing application services.
  • Cloud Platform Experience: Practical experience deploying and scaling applications using Google Cloud services; familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architectures is also valuable.
  • Software Architecture: Strong understanding of microservices architecture, 12-factor application methodology, distributed systems, and modern application design principles.
  • Database Technologies: Solid experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server, along with database schema management and migration practices.
  • Configuration and Security: Familiarity with configuration management, secrets management, and secure application development practices.
  • Testing and Delivery: Knowledge of software testing frameworks, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.
