The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Customer Experience Designer (UX & Creative) based in the United States.

The Senior Customer Experience Designer will combine strategic UX thinking with strong visual design expertise to create intuitive and engaging digital customer experiences. You will translate complex program requirements and brand direction into polished consumer journeys, campaign creative, and production-ready digital experiences. The role offers meaningful ownership across loyalty, rebate, promotion, and sweepstakes programs, from initial concept through execution. You will collaborate closely with Product, Development, Sales, Account Management, and Delivery teams to balance customer needs, usability, technical constraints, and business objectives. AI-enabled tools will be an important part of the creative workflow, supporting concept development, prototyping, production, and process improvements. You will also contribute to reusable UX patterns, templates, design systems, and scalable workflows that extend beyond individual campaigns. This is a fully remote, hands-on opportunity for a senior designer who enjoys combining strategy, creativity, execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

Accountabilities:

  • UX & Experience Design: Own UX and design execution for assigned loyalty, rebate, promotion, and sweepstakes programs, including registration, receipt upload, earning, redemption, and communications journeys while balancing client goals, usability, platform capabilities, and program rules.
  • Digital Creative: Design polished, brand-led responsive websites, landing pages, microsites, and supporting communications, extending creative direction across email, social, and promotional assets when required.
  • Client Collaboration: Present and explain experience and creative decisions to clients, gather and incorporate feedback, and lead working discussions for assigned projects while partnering with senior creative leadership on broader strategy and key accounts.
  • AI-Enabled Design: Incorporate AI tools into concepting, prototyping, production, and creative workflows while applying strong professional design judgment to evaluate, refine, and improve AI-generated outputs.
  • Workflow Innovation: Use emerging tools to analyze requirements, prepare supporting materials, document decisions, and improve repeatable creative and production processes.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Delivery, Product, and Development teams to identify technical constraints, surface risks and trade-offs, and create compelling experiences that can be effectively delivered.
  • Design Systems: Partner with Product teams on reusable UX patterns, templates, and design-system improvements while helping document and refine workflows from project scope through approval and production.
  • Quality & Accessibility: Ensure experiences are responsive, accessible, visually consistent, aligned with brand standards, and compliant with applicable program rules.
  • Creative Ownership: Independently make day-to-day design decisions, provide thoughtful creative critique, manage priorities, and take ownership of assigned work through completion.
  • Team Collaboration: Work constructively across distributed teams and contribute to a collaborative environment where ideas, feedback, and design quality are continuously improved.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in UX, digital, product, visual design, or equivalent demonstrated capability, with portfolio quality, design judgment, and ownership carrying significant weight.
  • Design Expertise: Senior-level design judgment with a strong eye for typography, composition, hierarchy, interaction, visual detail, and the ability to independently refine work to a polished standard.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio or relevant design samples demonstrating visual execution, brand-led digital experiences, UX thinking across customer journeys and responsive layouts, and at least one substantial project taken from concept through execution.
  • Project Ownership: Demonstrated ability to take design work from brief to delivery, manage competing priorities, maintain quality, and proactively move projects forward.
  • UX Fundamentals: Strong understanding of user journeys, interaction design, responsive and mobile-first experiences, and how visual decisions contribute to usability.
  • Design Tools: Strong command of professional design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including the ability to create polished digital creative and interactive prototypes.
  • AI Experience: Hands-on experience using AI tools in creative or production workflows, with the ability to critically assess and improve AI-generated results. Experience with Claude is welcome but not required.
  • Presentation Skills: Confidence presenting and explaining design decisions, responding constructively to feedback, and collaborating effectively across disciplines and stakeholder groups.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience working with senior enterprise stakeholders is an advantage, particularly in client-facing or agency environments.
  • Hands-On Mindset: Resourceful individual-contributor approach with the ability to move between experience design, campaign creative, prototyping, and adjacent production requirements.
  • Decision-Making: Strong judgment around when to make independent decisions, seek additional input, or identify and escalate risks.
  • Relevant Industry Experience: Experience with loyalty, promotions, rebates, sweepstakes, incentive marketing, agency or client services, CPG, retail, SaaS platforms, design systems, configurable templates, or WCAG accessibility standards is a plus.
  • Location: Candidates must be based in the United States or Canada.
  • Schedule: Availability during core hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PT, with occasional early or late calls to collaborate with teams in Europe and India.
  • Compensation: Typical hiring range of $80,000–$95,000 USD annually, with final base pay determined by role-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Total Rewards: Competitive and comprehensive total rewards package.
  • Work Arrangement: Fully remote position within a distributed, nationally and internationally connected team.
  • Flexible Collaboration: Remote environment with electronic communication across geographically distributed teams.
  • Creative Ownership: Significant hands-on ownership of customer experience and creative design across complex digital programs.
  • AI-Enabled Environment: Opportunity to incorporate emerging AI tools into professional design, prototyping, and production workflows.
  • Cross-Functional Exposure: Collaboration with Product, Development, Sales, Account Management, Delivery, and senior stakeholders.
  • Design Systems & Innovation: Opportunity to contribute to reusable patterns, templates, workflows, and scalable design practices.
  • International Collaboration: Exposure to distributed teams across North America, Europe, and India.
  • Professional Growth: Opportunity to broaden expertise across UX, visual design, campaign creative, customer experience, AI-assisted workflows, and digital production.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
