The posting
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior GTM Engineer based in United States.
This role is a hands-on engineering position focused on advancing a modern go-to-market technology ecosystem. You will own projects spanning Salesforce, sales engagement, customer success, CPQ, enrichment, marketing automation, and data platforms. From implementations and integrations to automation and AI-powered workflows, you will take initiatives from design through production. You will also serve as a key escalation point for complex cross-system issues, driving durable fixes through disciplined root-cause analysis. Working closely with technical program and engineering partners, you will help shape solutions while identifying tradeoffs and downstream impacts. The role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to influence how GTM teams use automation, data, and emerging AI capabilities. You will also help establish reusable engineering patterns, strengthen documentation, and mentor other team members.
Accountabilities:
- Own GTM technology projects from requirements and solution design through development, testing, rollout, and enablement, including implementations, integrations, automations, and cross-platform enhancements.
- Resolve tier 2 escalations involving workflow errors, integration failures, data model issues, and cross-system problems by identifying root causes and implementing durable solutions.
- Build and maintain integrations and data flows using iPaaS platforms and APIs, ensuring consistent account ownership, territories, routing, product catalogs, and other critical data across the warehouse, Salesforce, and downstream systems.
- Develop AI-powered workflows, including AI agents, LLM-based automation, enrichment, triage, next-step capture, and MCP-style integrations, while identifying additional opportunities to reduce manual work.
- Perform advanced Salesforce configuration and administration, including complex flows, data model changes, permission architecture, sandbox management, and releases, while contributing at similar depth across other GTM platforms as required.
- Partner with technical program and engineering stakeholders on requirements, architecture, solution design, tradeoffs, and downstream system impacts.
- Coordinate with vendors on implementations, support cases, proofs of concept, and hands-on evaluations of new technologies.
- Document technical solutions, establish reusable implementation and troubleshooting patterns, and mentor other engineers on configuration and issue resolution.
- Progressively take ownership of increasingly complex initiatives, with success measured through delivered projects, reduced recurring escalations, and production-ready AI-powered workflows.
- 5+ years of experience administering and building GTM or business systems, including strong hands-on expertise with Salesforce flows, data models, permissions, and deployments.
- Practical experience with at least two additional GTM technology categories, such as sales engagement, customer success platforms, CPQ, enrichment, or marketing automation.
- Demonstrated experience owning implementations, integrations, or process automation projects from initial design through successful production delivery.
- Strong integration experience using iPaaS platforms and/or APIs, with an understanding of authentication, rate limits, synchronization direction, and common integration failure modes.
- Hands-on experience or strong demonstrated interest in applying AI to systems work, including agents, LLM-powered automation, or MCP-style integrations.
- Strong data fluency, including SQL and data warehouse concepts, with the ability to trace data quality issues across systems from source to destination.
- A disciplined approach to root-cause analysis, with a focus on resolving underlying classes of problems rather than applying temporary fixes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous requests into well-scoped initiatives, communicate progress and tradeoffs, and challenge proposed approaches constructively.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Apex, Python, or JavaScript, with enough proficiency to read, understand, and review code.
- Salesforce certifications such as Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder are a plus.
- Salary range of $120,000–$140,000.
- Fully remote position.
- Flexible time-off policy.
- Employee Assistance Program and other well-being resources.
- Local employee meetups and location-dependent benefits.
- Reimbursement for relevant conferences, training, and education.
- Access to LinkedIn Learning with more than 10,000 courses.
- Potential eligibility for performance-based bonuses in addition to base salary.
- Equity compensation for eligible employees, including equity grants upon hire.
- Employee Stock Purchase Program for eligible employees.
- Career development opportunities within a high-performance technology environment.
