The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Notifications based in United States.

As a Senior Product Manager, Notifications, you’ll shape the strategy and execution of products that play a critical role in user engagement, growth, and retention. You’ll help build a real-time notifications platform spanning in-app, push, email, and potentially new communication channels. The role focuses on delivering the right content to the right users at the right time while creating experiences that are useful, personalized, and engaging. You’ll tackle complex challenges involving reach, addressability, off-platform conversion, inventory development, and post-click experiences across devices and operating systems. Working closely with engineering, design, data science, product, operations, and partnerships teams, you’ll turn insights into measurable product improvements. You’ll own strategic roadmaps, experimentation, prioritization, and performance analysis in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. This is an opportunity to influence products serving a large-scale global consumer audience while partnering closely with senior product leadership.

Accountabilities:

  • Drive and execute the product vision and strategy for Notifications Engagement, with a focus on improving user value, engagement, and long-term retention.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate a prioritized product roadmap aligned with team priorities and broader business objectives.
  • Work closely with design, engineering, data science, and product teams to identify user problems, capture opportunities, and manage a prioritized backlog.
  • Participate in quarterly planning to define initiatives, resolve dependencies, and establish data-driven priorities.
  • Define team goals, success metrics, and measurable outcomes that align product performance with broader business objectives.
  • Design, run, and evaluate product experiments to continuously test, learn, and improve the user experience.
  • Analyze feature and experiment results, communicate key findings, and translate learnings into actionable product decisions.
  • Use data and user insights to identify opportunities for more personalized and effective product experiences.
  • Conduct market and usability research to understand customer needs, emerging opportunities, and potential areas for product innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal business, operations, and partnerships teams to launch and maintain features that contribute to user growth and engagement.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize notification experiences, reach, addressability, conversion, and post-click journeys.
  • Align diverse stakeholders around a common product vision and facilitate effective decision-making across cross-functional teams.
  • 5+ years of professional product management experience, preferably with large-scale consumer products.
  • Demonstrated experience growing consumer products through improvements to user experience, engagement, and retention.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to write SQL queries from scratch and use data to solve complex product problems and guide decisions.
  • Proven experience developing long-term product strategies and roadmaps, establishing OKRs, defining success metrics, and running and measuring experiments.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering, product management, data science, design, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Strong passion for rapid experimentation, continuous testing, learning, and iteration.
  • Ability to define meaningful team goals and success metrics and track progress against broader business objectives.
  • Exceptional independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders around shared goals.
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong execution skills and the ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Experience with consumer growth and experimentation at scale is preferred.
  • Experience working on high-traffic consumer experiences and/or products adjacent to machine learning is preferred.
  • Background or experience in UX, mobile, engineering, or data science is a plus.
  • Base salary range of $190,800–$267,100 USD.
  • Equity compensation in the form of restricted stock units.
  • Commission eligibility may apply depending on the position offered.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for U.S.-based employees.
  • 401(k) program with employer match.
  • Generous vacation and paid time off.
  • Parental leave.
  • Opportunity to work on high-scale consumer products with significant impact on engagement and retention.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, data science, business, operations, and partnerships teams.
  • Opportunity to lead experimentation, personalization, and real-time product experiences across multiple communication channels.
  • Remote work opportunity within the United States.
  • Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans during the application and interview process.
  • For select roles, interview recording, transcription, and AI-generated summaries may be used, with the option to opt out before scheduled interviews.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
