The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Sales Executive, Provincial & Health Systems based in Canada.

This is a senior enterprise sales role focused on the largest and most strategic digital health opportunities across Canadian provincial and health systems. You will own complex sales cycles from account strategy and RFP pursuit through negotiation, close, and handover to delivery. The role combines executive-level relationship building with disciplined sales execution, forecasting, and multi-threaded account management. You will work closely with executive sponsors, bid strategy, solutions engineering, delivery, and customer teams. The environment is highly strategic, collaborative, and focused on long-term health-system partnerships. Regular travel across Canada is expected, making proximity to a major Canadian airport hub important.

Accountabilities:

  • Build and execute named account plans for provinces and health authorities, covering stakeholders, buying processes, budget cycles, political calendars, and procurement vehicles.
  • Structure system-level programs into defined phases with clear scope, value, signatures, and forecasts.
  • Establish mutual close plans for deals above $1M, including signers, procurement and legal pathways, responsibilities, and timelines.
  • Lead provincial RFP pursuits in partnership with the Bid Manager, including bid/no-bid decisions, win themes, pricing strategy, orals, and demonstrations.
  • Coordinate executive sponsorship with ministers, deputy ministers, and health-authority leaders, ensuring senior leaders remain focused on strategic sponsorship.
  • Develop multi-threaded relationships with at least three stakeholders per account to reduce dependency on individual contacts.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce forecasting aligned with stage entry and exit criteria and participate in bi-weekly forecast reviews.
  • Develop delivery plans alongside each close and remain engaged through go-live to support expansion and future phases.
  • Collaborate with delivery and integration partners when they strengthen bids or expand market reach.
  • Establish a named account plan for every province and health authority in play within the first 90 days.
  • Develop customer-validated mutual close plans for all deals above $1M and ensure provincial opportunities are forecast by phase.
  • Drive reliable provincial close dates, planned expansion phases, and new health-system agreements during the first year.
  • 10+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, including 5+ years selling to Canadian provincial governments, health authorities, or large health systems.
  • Demonstrated success closing multi-year, multi-million-dollar agreements through 12–18+ month public-sector sales cycles.
  • Credibility and confidence engaging with ministers, deputy ministers, health-authority executives, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience managing formal RFPs and Canadian public procurement processes.
  • Strong account-planning, phased-deal, mutual-close-plan, and sales-forecasting discipline.
  • Experience selling software combined with services and implementation.
  • Strong Salesforce experience and attention to pipeline and forecast accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in virtual care, digital health, or clinical services is an advantage.
  • French-language skills are an advantage, particularly for work with stakeholders in Quebec and New Brunswick.
  • Existing relationships across Atlantic Canada or the Prairies are a plus.
  • Experience progressing a pilot or initial phase into a province-wide program is desirable.
  • Canadian work experience is not required.
  • Base salary of $140,000–$180,000 CAD annually, plus commission, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Fully remote position within Canada.
  • Proximity to a major Canadian airport hub such as Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary, or Vancouver to support frequent travel.
  • Regular travel opportunities for customer and partner meetings, industry events, and internal team gatherings.
  • Toronto headquarters available for in-person collaboration, connection, and team events when valuable.
  • Competitive benefits package.
  • 4 weeks of paid vacation plus 6 personal days.
  • Meaningful work with a direct connection to improving patient care.
  • Growth opportunities supported by mentorship and development from experienced leaders.
  • Collaborative culture centered on teamwork, integrity, innovation, meaningful impact, and continuous learning.
  • Commitment to equal employment opportunities and an inclusive, non-discriminatory workplace.
  • Workplace accommodations available for candidates with disabilities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
