This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SEO Specialist based in India.

This is a hands-on, remote SEO opportunity for a professional who can independently own and drive organic growth for international clients. The role covers the full SEO lifecycle, from strategy development and implementation to monitoring, optimization, and reporting. You will work across diverse industries and markets, with a strong focus on traffic growth, keyword visibility, lead generation, and conversions. The position combines On-Page, Off-Page, Technical, Local, and E-commerce SEO, giving you broad ownership of client outcomes. You will also use analytics, SEO platforms, AI, and automation tools to improve decision-making and workflow efficiency. This is an individual-contributor environment suited to someone who is proactive, highly accountable, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.

Accountabilities

  • Own the complete SEO lifecycle for assigned projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, optimization, and performance reporting.
  • Develop and implement data-driven SEO strategies tailored to international clients operating across different industries, markets, and business objectives.
  • Execute On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO initiatives in line with defined project goals and performance targets.
  • Manage lead-generation SEO projects with a clear focus on increasing organic traffic, improving keyword rankings, and driving measurable conversion outcomes.
  • Lead Local SEO activities, including Google Business Profile optimization, while also supporting and managing E-commerce SEO initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a consistent, quality-focused link-building pipeline to strengthen organic visibility and authority.
  • Continuously monitor keyword rankings, website traffic, and technical SEO health, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions when needed.
  • Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant SEO tools to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and recommend improvements.
  • Apply AI and SEO automation tools to accelerate keyword research, content planning, analysis, reporting, and broader SEO workflows.
  • Have at least 3 years of hands-on professional SEO experience with a strong track record of managing and executing SEO initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO principles and practices.
  • Have proven experience managing lead-generation SEO projects with a focus on measurable traffic, rankings, and conversion improvements.
  • Bring practical experience with Local SEO, including Google Business Profile optimization, as well as E-commerce SEO.
  • Be proficient in Google Analytics and Google Search Console and comfortable using data to guide SEO decisions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in keyword research, competitive analysis, SEO strategy development, and performance optimization.
  • Have substantial hands-on experience using AI and SEO automation tools beyond basic chatbot usage, with the ability to apply these technologies to research, analysis, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
  • Be highly self-motivated and capable of taking complete ownership of SEO projects while working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Be available to join immediately and comfortable working remotely using a personal device.
  • Contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for longer-term engagement based on performance and business needs.
  • Salary range of ₹7–10 lakh per year.
