  • Develop and modify application logic, troubleshoot issues, integrate components, and support successful implementation of system improvements.
  • Apply software engineering fundamentals, security standards, source-code management practices, design patterns, and software development lifecycle processes.
  • Develop an understanding of clinical, business, and research workflows to help create appropriate and effective technology solutions.
  • Build expertise across CMS, DAM, search, and other web-focused platforms while continuing to learn relevant tools, libraries, technologies, and engineering practices.
  • Provide responsive end-user support, monitor service-level commitments, collaborate on incident resolution, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Follow established change-management procedures and demonstrate timely, effective, and customer-focused communication with users and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with vendors when needed to support and enhance technology investments and resolve customer issues.
  • Participate in a rotating 24-hour on-call schedule and respond to support needs with appropriate urgency.
  • Execute assigned project activities with a strong focus on quality and timeliness, communicate progress through project-management tools, and follow required time-tracking and project procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; no prior professional experience is required for this entry-level position.
  • A degree in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, data management, information systems, information science, or another quantitative discipline is preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of software engineering concepts, including SDLC practices, design patterns, source-code management, application development, and software architectures.
  • Familiarity with modern web development technologies such as React, SharePoint, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Tailwind is preferred.
  • Interest in or exposure to CMS, DAM, search, and other web-focused technologies is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and business processes, follow established procedures, manage priorities, and work effectively with more experienced engineers.
  • Ability to communicate project status clearly, collaborate across teams, respond effectively to support issues, and maintain a high standard of quality.
  • Willingness and ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular on-site presence and participate in a rotating 24-hour on-call schedule.
  • Expected starting pay range of $76,336 to $97,489.60 annually, with starting compensation based on experience, skills, and equity.
  • Additional compensation and differentials may apply depending on schedule, on-call, weekend, or other applicable requirements.
  • Full-time, regular employment with a 40-hour weekly schedule.
  • Hybrid work arrangement combining remote work with regular on-site presence based on business needs.
  • Opportunities for professional development and hands-on learning alongside experienced software engineers.
  • Exposure to modern software engineering practices, Agile methodologies, web technologies, and healthcare technology systems.
  • Opportunity to contribute to technology supporting clinical care, research, and business operations.
  • Collaborative environment focused on innovation, continuous learning, and responsible use of emerging technologies.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
