The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solution Executive, Managed Services based in United States.

This is a senior, consultative sales role focused on accelerating recurring revenue through managed technology services. You will act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, helping organizations connect their operational and technology priorities with scalable managed service strategies. The role combines strategic selling, business-case development, technical understanding, and executive relationship management. You will partner closely with sales, solution architecture, service delivery, operations, finance, and technology partners to shape high-value customer engagements. A key part of the role is identifying opportunities to expand managed services across cloud, cybersecurity, networking, collaboration, infrastructure, and other technology solutions. You will also enable field sales teams with repeatable discovery frameworks, value propositions, and sales strategies. This is an opportunity to influence complex transformation initiatives while driving measurable recurring revenue growth in a collaborative, technology-focused environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor by understanding customer priorities, operational challenges, IT operating models, technology roadmaps, support requirements, and transformation goals.
  • Partner with Account Executives and Sales Directors early in the sales cycle to identify, qualify, and advance managed services opportunities across strategic accounts.
  • Lead structured discovery processes that uncover customer pain points, business risks, decision criteria, economic buyers, technical champions, current delivery models, competitive alternatives, and readiness for change.
  • Drive recurring revenue growth by increasing managed services adoption across cloud, cybersecurity, collaboration, networking, infrastructure, Microsoft/CSP, endpoint, data center, observability, lifecycle, and professional services.
  • Lead consultative conversations with CIOs, CFOs, CTOs, COOs, IT Directors, Operations leaders, and other senior stakeholders, focusing on measurable business outcomes rather than technology features.
  • Develop compelling executive-level value propositions that demonstrate how managed services can reduce operational risk, improve service levels, increase predictability, strengthen governance, enhance security, and reduce operating costs.
  • Build ROI, TCO, and business-case analyses that help customers evaluate internal operations, incumbent providers, and alternative managed service models.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, service delivery, operations, finance, sales leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, operationally viable, financially sustainable, and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Help customers understand post-sale operating models, including onboarding, SLAs, ticketing, escalation processes, reporting, customer portals, governance, QBRs, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop account-level managed services growth strategies focused on expansion opportunities, modernization initiatives, lifecycle services, and increased customer wallet share.
  • Position managed services as strategic business enablers across service desk, infrastructure management, cloud operations, network operations, unified communications, security operations, observability, and end-user support.
  • Coach and enable field sales teams on discovery, qualification, managed services attach strategies, value articulation, objection handling, and outcome-based selling.
  • Develop repeatable sales assets, including discovery frameworks, talk tracks, customer presentations, objection-handling resources, value stories, and managed services attach motions.
  • Build strategic relationships with technology partners and support joint go-to-market initiatives, solution alignment, and customer opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive offerings, consumption models, AI-enabled operations, automation technologies, and evolving customer buying behaviors.
  • Support long-term customer relationships by aligning managed service strategies with business transformation objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • 5+ years of experience in managed services, IT services, technical sales, services consulting, customer success, or service delivery leadership.
  • Proven experience leading strategic customer engagements and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success developing account expansion strategies and recurring revenue growth programs.
  • Strong understanding of managed services business models, service delivery frameworks, governance structures, and recurring revenue strategies.
  • Highly proficient in AI tools and their practical application to customer engagement, operational efficiency, and service delivery optimization.
  • Understanding of AI-enabled operations, automation platforms, predictive analytics, AIOps, and modern managed services delivery models.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage, influence, and communicate effectively with CIOs, CFOs, CTOs, COOs, CEOs, IT Directors, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to conduct structured discovery and uncover business pain, operational risk, decision processes, stakeholder alignment, competitive dynamics, financial impact, and readiness for change.
  • Strong knowledge of value-based selling, MEDDPIC qualification, ROI/TCO analysis, business-case development, and executive stakeholder alignment.
  • Experience driving revenue through pre-sales, overlay sales, consulting, managed services, or strategic advisory roles.
  • Ability to position and attach managed services across cloud, cybersecurity, networking, collaboration/CX, infrastructure, Microsoft/CSP, endpoint, data center, observability, lifecycle, and professional services.
  • Ability to translate technical service capabilities and operating models into measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, service management, customer success, and operational governance frameworks.
  • Experience developing financial models, TCO analyses, ROI cases, operating model comparisons, and business justification for managed services adoption.
  • Ability to coordinate sales, architecture, delivery, operations, finance, customer success, and partner teams around complex customer opportunities.
  • Strong communication, commercial judgment, and influencing skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive audiences.
  • Ability to create field-ready sales assets, discovery frameworks, customer presentations, enablement content, and repeatable sales motions.
  • Experience within a Managed Service Provider, Systems Integrator, or Global Systems Integrator is preferred.
  • Experience developing recurring revenue strategies or managed services go-to-market programs is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, ITSM, customer experience frameworks, and service operations best practices is beneficial.
  • Experience with cloud operations across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of automation, AIOps, observability, and digital experience monitoring platforms is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of networking, cloud, collaboration, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and end-user computing technologies is preferred.
  • Experience building or scaling managed services practices or overlay organizations is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional or military experience required.
  • Willingness to travel domestically approximately 20–25% of the time.
  • Expected total on-target earnings of $300,000–$350,000, consisting of base salary plus commissions.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) with employer match.
  • Seven company holidays plus generous paid time off.
  • Remote work opportunity.
  • Opportunity to work in a collaborative, people-focused environment.
  • Access to continuous professional development and training.
  • Opportunity to work alongside industry-certified technology professionals.
  • High-impact role with significant influence over strategic customer relationships and recurring revenue growth.
  • Exposure to cloud, cybersecurity, AI-enabled operations, automation, managed services, and other emerging technologies.
  • Approximately 20–25% domestic travel, providing opportunities for direct customer and industry engagement.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
