The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Associate, eCommerce Merchandising based in the United States.

This role supports digital merchandising and eCommerce operations across international markets, with a strong focus on EMEA. You will help ensure products are accurately set up, enriched, and ready for launch across global retail and marketplace channels. The position combines hands-on merchandising execution with project coordination, content syndication, and new item onboarding. You’ll collaborate with Brand, Sales, Supply Chain, eCommerce, IT, and regional teams across multiple time zones. The role offers the opportunity to influence digital shelf quality, product discoverability, and consumer experiences across established brands. You’ll also contribute to improving merchandising processes, tools, workflows, and automation capabilities. This is a fully remote position with working hours aligned to EMEA market needs.

Accountabilities

  • Manage and coordinate digital merchandising requests, ensuring requirements are accurately captured, prioritized, and routed for execution.
  • Lead new item setup and onboarding for EMEA markets, managing activities from initial item creation through digital shelf readiness across retailer and syndication platforms.
  • Coordinate project workflows and deliverables in Jira, maintaining visibility into priorities, deadlines, dependencies, and outstanding actions.
  • Ensure product content is accurate, complete, consistent, and aligned with retailer requirements to support successful product launches.
  • Support content syndication and retailer onboarding across key EMEA retail and marketplace partners, including regional formatting, language, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Brand, Sales, Supply Chain, eCommerce, IT, and international teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and execute merchandising initiatives.
  • Monitor content and launch readiness, proactively identifying data gaps, workflow issues, and risks that could affect timelines.
  • Apply digital merchandising best practices and established content standards to improve product content quality and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot product content, data, workflow, and digital shelf issues, escalating complex challenges when appropriate.
  • Support the ongoing improvement of digital merchandising tools and processes, including opportunities to leverage automation and Product Experience Management capabilities.
  • Provide project and segment status updates to maintain visibility into workload, priorities, dependencies, and execution progress.
  • Develop expertise in EMEA retailer requirements, regional market nuances, and international merchandising processes, serving as a resource for new item setup and market onboarding.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in eCommerce, digital merchandising, content operations, project coordination, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in digital merchandising, eCommerce operations, content syndication, product content, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Practical understanding of eCommerce merchandising, digital shelf requirements, product content, and the processes required to bring products to market through digital channels.
  • Experience with Product Experience Management (PXM) and digital content platforms; Salsify experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Salsify, Syndigo, Stibo, Adobe Experience Manager, Workfront, Jira, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of how product data and content move through PXM, syndication, retailer, and marketplace ecosystems.
  • Experience supporting international product launches, new item setup, content syndication, or retailer onboarding across EMEA or other global markets is preferred, particularly within consumer products, retail, or related industries.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workflows, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions to merchandising and content challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across commercial, business, technology, and international teams.
  • Self-directed and accountable, with the ability to take ownership, manage competing priorities, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Working hours aligned with EMEA market needs.
  • Base salary range of $70,400–$96,800 per year, with actual compensation based on relevant experience and required skills.
  • Opportunity to work across international markets and contribute to digital merchandising for a broad portfolio of consumer brands.
  • Cross-functional exposure to eCommerce, Brand, Sales, Supply Chain, IT, and international business teams.
  • Opportunity to develop expertise in digital shelf management, product content, PXM, content syndication, and international eCommerce operations.
  • Inclusive and collaborative working environment.
  • Equal employment opportunity and compliance with applicable employment laws.
  • Additional benefits may be provided according to the applicable employment package.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
