The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Product Designer based in United States .

As a Staff Product Designer on the AI experience team, you’ll lead high-impact design initiatives shaping how people interact with intelligent products and systems. You’ll define the end-to-end design strategy for AI experiences, from generative interfaces to the future evolution of the platform. Working across Product, Engineering, Research, Revenue, Client Services, and Leadership, you’ll turn complex technical and data-rich systems into intuitive experiences. You’ll help establish how AI communicates reasoning, confidence, uncertainty, and recovery when things go wrong. The role combines exceptional interaction design and prototyping craft with strategic thinking, systems design, and measurable business impact. You’ll also mentor other designers and help raise design quality, consistency, and maturity across the organization. This is a remote-first opportunity offering significant influence in a collaborative, globally distributed environment.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design strategy for AI experiences, including generative UI and how AI can shape future product interactions.
  • Establish principles and interaction patterns that help users understand AI reasoning, confidence, limitations, and recovery from errors.
  • Drive design for complex, multi-team initiatives, from problem framing and strategic direction through refinement and launch.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Revenue, Client Services, and Leadership to align design decisions with customer value and business outcomes.
  • Translate technical, data-rich, and highly automated systems into intuitive, scalable experiences that support confident and efficient decision-making.
  • Define quality standards for AI-generated responses and collaborate with Engineering on evaluation frameworks and testing.
  • Develop frameworks, patterns, processes, and systems that improve product quality and consistency across teams and product surfaces.
  • Balance usability, automation, and performance considerations, including latency, streaming, and cost per interaction.
  • Mentor and guide designers through feedback, context sharing, systems thinking, and design leadership.
  • Contribute to the evolution of design practices, ensuring products, processes, and experiences scale with quality and intent.
  • Extensive experience designing complex products, ideally within data-driven, enterprise, workflow-rich, or technically sophisticated environments.
  • Proven experience designing AI-powered products and understanding the unique challenges of unpredictable model behavior and dynamically generated interfaces.
  • Strong practical use of AI tools in the design process, including coded prototypes that interact with real models and tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
  • A clear perspective on the future of AI design, supported by a track record of experimenting, building, and acting on emerging opportunities.
  • Advanced mastery of interaction design, prototyping, and information architecture, with the ability to make abstract and complex concepts understandable.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect design decisions to measurable user and business outcomes.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across technical, commercial, operational, and leadership teams.
  • A combination of high craft standards and strategic thinking, with the ability to simplify complexity and focus teams on the most important problems.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Base salary determined according to location, experience, technical skills, education, certifications, organizational needs, and approved budget.
  • Potential eligibility for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, equity awards, and other rewards depending on the role.
  • Competitive paid time off, including a day off for your birthday.
  • Retirement, 401(k), or pension savings programs depending on location.
  • Comprehensive health benefits from the first day of employment, with country-specific coverage.
  • Access to a comprehensive mental health care program.
  • Work-from-home reimbursement.
  • Optional global WeWork membership and access to hubs in London and Toronto where applicable.
  • Robust training and onboarding programs.
  • Support for professional development initiatives, including conferences, courses, and books.
  • Access to programmatic advertising courses and certifications for continuous learning.
  • Parental leave program.
  • Friendly, welcoming, and supportive working culture.
  • Social and team events.
  • Remote-first working environment with flexibility for candidates located across Canada.
  • Inclusive and accessible recruitment process, with accommodations available upon request.
  • Opportunities to work on AI, automation, complex product systems, and high-impact design initiatives in a globally distributed environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
